Sophie Monk's panty line and Paris feud

Filed under: Swimwear and Lingerie, Celebrities with Style

Sophie Monk is out promoting a new line of shaping underwear called Hollywood Fashion Shapes from the makers of Hollywood Fashion Tape (it rhymes -- get it?). But, in case posing with the undies on her head (seriously -- check the gallery) or being photographed with women wearing nothing but the shapewear wasn't getting enough attention, Sophie decided to start a feud with someone who definitely knows how to garner coverage -- Paris Hilton.

If you want to be on Bravo's "Fashion House", listen up!

Filed under: Style in the News

While Project Runway may be high-tailing it out of New York and going to LA next season where it will debut for the first time on the Lifetime network, Bravo is hard at work cooking up yet another fashion related reality show they're hoping will successfully takeover PJ's prime time spot:

Fashion House
"aims to find out if up and coming designers have what it takes to work in one of the most elite fashion houses in the world" like, say, Ralph Lauren. And guess what? They're wanting all the would be future Marc Jacobs and Donna Karens to sign-up, here. We hope you're not camera shy because you'll have to send a 10 minute video showing off your design skills along with your application. So work on your extra cheesy catch phrase, like now.

If you're wondering how legit the contest is, the British version of the show featured none other than Gareth Pugh. Good luck, boys and girls. You'll need it.

Marie Claire gets its own reality show

Filed under: Style in the News

Prominent fashion magazines are all itching to make the leap to reality television. Just ask Marie Claire. After watching Elle magazine's readership soar after former fashion editor Nina Garcia became associated with the hit show Project Runway, they want in on the action now, too.

This is probably why they scooped up Garcia once she was ousted from Elle for, well, not doing much of anything. But don't blame her! The show apparently kept her far too busy to work on menial things like sitting at your desk all day looking over the free designer stuff PR companies sent you in hopes of being placed in Elle.

With that, I imagine Garcia isn't doing much at her new post except for gearing up to be on another freakin' reality show! That's right. This March, Marie Claire is launching Running in Heels, a show that will give the viewers an inside look into the professional and personal lives of the editors at the mag, on the Style Network.

And yeah. That means the cameras will be following Nina Garcia, too. As the press release reads: "Cameras will capture the 24/7 demands of their roles at the magazine and, through private video confessionals, viewers will learn how the interns cope with their jobs, their superiors and each other."

This should be interesting.

We tried, you guys. We really, really didn't want to like her, but in the reality show teaser Zoe came across as someone we'd like to go to lunch with, do a little shopping afterwards, and talk lots of shit about people in between. You know, like we do with all of our other super fun girlfriends.
