Naomi might settle her score

Filed under: Runway Trends, Style in the News

According to a Reuters report, supermodel Naomi Campbell is considering the option of settling with assault victim Ana Scolavino. Prosecutors claim that Campbell threw her cellphone at Scolavino during a dispute over a pair of blue jeans. Campbell's cellphone hit the victim in the back of the head, opening up a wound that required four staples. It's not clear whether the plea agree will go through, however. Assistant District Attorney Shanda Strain told Judge Evelyn Laporte of the Manhattan Criminal Court, "We are still in the process of working out a possible disposition." If the case isn't settled on or before her next court date on January 16, Campbell could face charges of second-degree assault. Given her prior record, if charged with assault, Campbell could face up to seven years in jail or deportation.

You have to admit, seven years in the big house is definitely going where no model has gone before.

According to a Reuters report, Hilton will be modeling a line of clothes by American designer Anand Jon. Jon is of Indian descent and has created this line to sell to the India's trend elite. She will visit five Indian cities including Mumbai. But just because Paris's music video for "Stars are Blind" didn't make it onto the air waves due to its "explicit" content doesn't mean that her reputation won't precede her. Copies of the infamous "One night in Paris" sex tape are readily available on the streets of India for as little as $2.
