Flatter Your Figure - Trendy Tops to Flatter Turkey-Stuffed Tummies

sweaterYou know what next Thursday is -- Turkey Day! And, you know what that means. Even if you normally have a fabulously flat tummy, you're likely to end up with a bit of a belly by the time the bird is taken off the table. And, if you have a belly to start with, well -- you know your best bet is to wear something that gives you room to breathe.

Consider, if you will, the slingshot. Awesome, isn't it?

Rhetoric, an American clothing company that makes equally awesome shirts, agrees. They're fans of fantastic design and things that fit nicely in your back pocket. "Rhetoric celebrates diversity and the absurd." Works for us.

Jodie Marsh at the Daylight Robbery Premiere - StyleFoul!

(Click the photo to see more Celebs Who Bare All on the Red Carpet)

In deciding to don this fine bit of fabric for a red carpet event, we imagine Jodie Marsh thinking the following:

"Okay, so if it covers nipples, it's considered a 'shirt', right? I mean, sure, this won't push my knockers up to my chin, but WOW! Just LOOK at how much of my front I can legally show! Man, is Jordan going to be jealous!"

We're also quite certain that she practiced posing to ensure her breast best look (although, does anyone else think this is not only hideous but wildly unflattering?), because, when she moved out from the perfect pose, this is what happened:

eBay WTF of the Day: Britney Spears reject costume

Ghost of Christmas NEVERColleen123pitbulls has an unusual article of clothing here that can be yours for 99 cents! Catch: it's fugly.

There's something oddly Britney Spears about it, something about the flesh tone with spangles. Everyone remembers this hot mess of a moment at the VMAs, right? At least on Britney it didn't have the "unusual long frays" that look like Ace Bandages.

This shirt is your biggest fan

Filed under: Accessories, Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Men

We've officially seen it all. Everything. We will no longer be surprised and/or amazed by the offspring created when technology and fashion get together, usually after having one too many at the office Christmas party. It happens.

A company called Kuchofuku has created the answer to all of your sweating in the cubicle blues. They have created a shirt with built in air conditioning that is powered by your USB drive. Seriously. No longer will you have to sit and sweat in the office because Ted in accounting, who refuses to retire, feels a chill.

eBay WTF of the Day: Shirfscart.

Because putting on a scarf AND a shirt is just out of the question.
Wanna look sharp without all the hassle? Try the new 2-in-one scarf-and-shirt, or "shirfscart," as we like to call it, from Cmstylehk on eBay!

This top poses the question: "Is putting on a scarf and a shirt too much work, too time-consuming, or perhaps just too black-diamond-difficult?"

Must-haves for your lingerie drawer

As far as lingerie goes, your specific "needs" will be dependent upon your lifestyle. And we don't mean just your nightlife. If you wear a a lot of skirts and pants that show your pantylines, you need no-show panties. If your pants tend to be of the low-rise variety, you need some undies that will stay low, too. And, if you're an athlete, you need undergarments that stay in place during strenuous activity (you know, the kind of strenuous activity that requires you to keep your clothes on).

According to Divine Caroline, there are five things every woman needs to have in her lingerie drawer. Check out the gallery to see what they are, and be sure to let us know if you'd add anything to the list!

Locher's perverted new spring collection

The new Locher's collection of blouses is out now, just in time for spring, and boy is it saucy as ever! French designer Nicole Locher created this naughty yet sweet line of embroidered tops and it's taken off like wildfire with sassy ladies around the world. These shirts may look ultra feminine and sweet at first glance (and they are!), but a closer look reveals a wonderfully perverted twist.

No See'ems keep folks from, well, seeing 'em

Filed under: Accessories, Clothing, Swimwear and Lingerie

We can't tell you how many times we've tried on a blouse and felt like we'd found a good fit, only to realize at a later (and generally much more inopportune) time that certain movements caused gapping in the front. And that's never cool.

On occasion, we've resorted to using safety pins and double-stick tape, but have never been happy with the results. Either the pins aren't hidden or the tape just doesn't work. Finally, though, there appears to be a solution -- No See'ems.

Wear the rock!

Filed under: Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Men, Celebrities with Style

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

Do you love the 80's? Perhaps you have a fondness for the big hair and power ballads of your youth or just an appreciation for those that came before you. Holy crap, everyone here was alive in the 80's, right?

Styles that Stick: Polo shirts

Filed under: Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Men

Instant preppiness can be achieved by simply donning a polo shirt (or tennis shirt or golf shirt, whatever term tickles your fancy). My favorite way to wear a polo is with grungy jeans and messy accessories, because I guess I'm into that weird juxtaposed look.

Lacoste is probably the most popular brand for this shirt, and rightfully so. René Lacoste was a French tennis player, working when the sport's players still had to compete while wearing suits and ties. Looking for a creative alternative to their traditional stuffy attire, Lacoste created what we now know as the polo shirt -- he used it as a tennis shirt, obviously -- and started his own line of clothing: Gucci.

No, I'm just kidding, it was Lacoste. I was just testing you, see?

Other popular polo shirts come from Ralph Lauren's Polo line and just about any other place on the face of this earth that sells Western clothing. Seriously, polo shirts are everywhere. Also, it's tough to go wrong with a polo shirt, as long as it's not too baggy and fits close to the body. Honestly, it's just a glorified knit shirt, darlings.

Fun fact: Before annoying rich kids in high school made it look obnoxious, flipping the collar up on a polo shirt was not for fashion, but for function. Wearing the collar up would protect the wearer's neck from the sun during outdoor games.

Remember to keep calm and carry on

Filed under: Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Celebrities with Style

Emma Watson and Rupert Grint looked great at the Paris premiere of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Watson didn't dress as wackily as she usually does (it's almost as if she dresses strictly according to a StyleFoul guide or something), but Grint stuck with his usual "too cool to dress up" style, wearing faded jeans and t-shirts. However, I noticed that the shirt that he wore to this particular premiere has been popping up everywhere.

"Keep Calm and Carry On," his shirt says. It's actually an image/saying from a British World War II poster that was designed to assure citizens that all measures were being taken to defend the country against Germany. It has a strange relevance to the Western world's situation now, and is a nice juxtaposition to the scare tactics and fear mongering we see everywhere.

Plus, it's a cool shirt.

Edit: Apparently this is the original place that made these shirts, including the one that Rupert is wearing.
