Making Karl Lagerfeld proud: Lindsay Lohan 6126 leggings with (built-in) kneepads

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

You don't have to be as skinny as Lindsay to wear her leggings, or as crazy. But it helps.

We thought we had to wait until the end of August for the 6126 leggings line, oh-so-originally named for Marilyn Monroe's birthday, to appear at Fred Segal. Hat tip to Perez Hilton for the great news that we can see the first four items and get them early, as in right this minute!

Yes, if you've been dying for a pair of shiny leggings...with built-in, quilted knee pads...named "Mr. President" (Finish the tasteless Friday joke: what's the difference between an egg, meat and a ____ ___? Hint: you can't beat it!) then today is your lucky day.

Get a look at the rest of this traumatic magic in the gallery, or head on over to shop intuition and place your order now, before they're gone. Those leopard ankle gloves are going to fly off the shelves. Absolutely fly.

Bordeaux dress with built in smoother

Filed under: Clothing, Swimwear and Lingerie, Dresses

Flipping through InStyle magazine at the salon, we were struck by this pretty dress by Bordeaux.

Yes, the color is great, and the embellished neckline still has a few minutes left on the fashionable timer. But it was what you can't see that caught my eye.

Beautiful beauty sleep

Sleep. It is important to most of us.

Eight hours a night is supposed to leave you rested, full of life, dark-circle-free, and all sorts of other wonderful things. I am practically a vampire so I can make it just fine on about 3 hours of sleep (true story). For you sleepers out there boy do I have a product for you, the Ideal Beauty Charmeuse Pillow Case.

This $45 100% silk pillowcase prevents wrinkles. Well, not old people wrinkles but it does prevent those gross sleep wrinkles people wake up with. This pillowcase also claims to be great for your hair, it "extends the life of your hairstyle" which for about 5 minutes I couldn't figure out why anyone would care about waking up with gorgeous hair, but now I see that this pillow is best for waking up next to a major hottie. The pillowcase also comes with a soft silk headband if you want to pull that luscious mane away from your face (to kiss a hottie perhaps?).

The Ideal Beauty pillow case comes in blue, pink, gold, silver, and mint -- so hopefully that will coordinate with some of your bedding (why it doesn't come in white is beyond me).

Steals-n-Deals for the Fashionista

Deals-n-Steals for the Fashionista
Being fabulous and fashionable isn't an easy job, I mean you can't call yourself a fashionista and wear shabby gear right? Problem is, the best stuff tends to have the highest price tag (ouch). We real women know we can't live the Sex and the City life of sipping cocktails and drowning in designer shoes without consequences. It's called debt, sister friend and it ain't pretty.

So I have hunted and gathered some of the best deals on the on the web from Intermix, Active Endeavors, Saks, Ron Herman, Shop Intuition, and more -- so enjoy. Best part about shopping the sales online, is that you can avoid the shame of looking like a 'sale rat' at the boutiques, after all fashionistas are poised and would never dig for clothes.... Yeah right!

To market, to market for a good cause

Filed under: Handbags, Accessories, Style for a Cause

I love a bag for a good cause and these are a bit stylish than the last ones I saw. The Market Bags by Jaye Hersh are more than cute they are helpful. For each bag purchased, Intuition will donate $35 to the International Rescue Committee to help provide an education for war-affected children around the world. The goal is to raise $175,000 for the IRC's education programs. The 19" x 10" bag comes with a coin purse. The bags are available as messenger bags, market bags, weekenders and the totes shown here. The plain tote bags cost $85 but you can get them monogrammed with two initials ($105) or three ($115) at Shop Intuition. Celebs already carrying the bag include Eva Longoria, Vanessa Minnillo, Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, and Jessica Simpson.
