Despite our natural squeamishness about needles and...ahem...other stuff, we feel compelled to share the latest in skin care technology: injectable baby foreskin treatments.

Regardless of what month is on the calendar, many of us like to have a natural-looking, sun-kissed glow. Especially those of us who live in southern states -- people expect us to be a little tan, you know? It's a pretty well-accepted fact that Brad Pitt is prettier than most guys, regardless of their age. Hell, he's prettier than a good percentage of women we know! And while we're not sure we buy this story in its entirety (the National Enquirer isn't exactly the most reliable source), we think there's probably a good bit of truth in it.

Apparently, Brad Pitt spends an hour every night applying various cleansers, toners, creams, and balms to his face, including his $1400 a jar Creme de la Mer anti-aging moisturizer. And, once a week, he applies an olive oil-based cream on his hands and feet to keep his skin soft and supple. He even wears gloves and socks to bed to make sure he gets the full moisturizing benefits.

Skeptics, take note: After the first application of this mix of 11 essential oils (jasmine, sweet almond, jojoba) your complexion will have a visible, healthy glow. Really. We've tried and tested it ourselves.

Apply a few drops in lieu of your regular moisturizer (or under it when your skin is really drab). The oil is all natural, non-greasy, and leaves skin supple and hydrated. Dab a drop or two on your elbows, hands and feet before bed and your rough, dry skin will be banished. And just a few days ago, Condé Nast announced that British soul songstress, Duffy, would be the face of an exclusive new Nivea ad campaign. The ads will only run in Fashion Rocks, a super-glossy 16 page supplement that explores the relationship between fashion and music.

Duffy will also be performing alongside the likes of Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, and Mariah Carey in the Fashion Rocks special on CBS that airs on September 9th. Meanwhile, if you haven't picked-up Duffy's debut album Rockberry, then you must get on it. The ten track disc is full of beautiful love songs that are not the least bit cheesy and are made even better because of Duffy raspy voice.

We all like the idea of using natural ingredients, and those of us who garden probably feel even more strongly about it. Lisa Ludwigsen, who ran a school garden project for children at her local school, felt so strongly about it that she used some of the plants from the project to create a skincare and beauty line.
