Cheeky Umbrella - Laugh at the Rain, In Style!

Cheeky UmbrellasHere at StyleList, we definitely prefer sunny days to rainy ones -- dry days are better for our hair and better for our shoes. However, a rainy day doesn't have to dampen our style. Not with Cheeky Umbrellas.

Alias Premium Denim - Jeans review

Alias Premium DenimLet's be honest -- when it comes to jean companies' claims, we've heard it all before. They each say they'll make your butt look good and your legs look thin. Those are lies, all lies! So needless to say, we were skeptical when we heard about Alias Premium Denim. Alias said that their jeans would be cheaper -- and better. We had to find out the truth.

Vintage Red to release 2008 Autumn/Winter line

When we last visited Vintage Red they were releasing their Spring 2008 line and we were so impressed with the pieces, not to mention the vibe of the company, that we were falling over ourselves to sing its praise. We wrote things like, "Vintage Red's latest contribution to our closet is inspired by world travels, beers in Bali, and long laughs shared with "citizens of the world" and "we love a line of clothing that wears like a postcard and a company with pride like poetry." Is it obvious that we were smitten?

Fast forward to the now. Spring has long ago sprung and wilted beneath the heat of summer and we're standing on the cusp of change- falling leaves and football. We need new clothes.

Vintage Red can help:

real guy
Noun
1. informal a man or boy
2. a man that doesn't fit into sizes designed for skinny teens or runway models, nor wants to; enjoys sports

Are you, or do you know, a real guy? If so, you most likely understand the frustration involved in finding stylish pants that fit. Even tougher is finding stylish pants that fit at an affordable price. It ain't easy.

Brian Spaly felt this pain, too. In fact, it bothered him so much that he decided to do something about it. He started making his own pants. He started making his own AWESOME pants.

Brian started to create pants for real guys. He developed a curved waist band to better accommodate the body, "a slight bootcut to flatter the figure, and less fabric in the thighs so they weren't so baggy and boxy."

Other real guys noticed. He started selling the pants out of his trunk to fellow college students and soon had professors investing in his promise. Bonobos was born.

Saucony runs in style

Filed under: Accessories, Clothing, Shoes, Men

We just got back from a run. We went an incredibly short distance in a disgustingly disproportionate amount of time. We might still be running.

Of course, it could have been that time stood still once we made the mistake of choosing our footwear as our focal point. How can we breathe and push with a beige pair of 1997 on our feet? It ain't easy.

Hence our little perusal of the Saucony website. Saucony makes running shoes. They "exist for runners." They offer a line of footwear that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. Comfortable, too.

Stay dry and save the earth with this umbrella

Alright, folks -- for many of us, the rainy season is nigh, and that means breaking out the umbrella to protect the rest of your fabulous clothing. While I love the idea of having cutesy, happy ones, I have to tell you that I never remember to bring one inside with me unless it's already raining, so I don't generally end up spending too much on them.

However, for something that's reasonably cute and helps the planet, I might have to reconsider.
