When we think Quiksilver we think summer's in 7th grade spent in nothing but boardshorts and bathing suit tops. Thanks to Summer Rapp, our take on the iconic brand is about to change. Summer, who worked with similar brands Volcom and Ever, is giving the Quiksilver line a decidedly posh makeover. Well, as posh as skater chicks gets. There are adorable tunic covered with studs, surprisingly chic puffed sleeve sweaters, and little cotton dresses that will look as great with heels as they do with flats.
The best part is that the prices all stay well below $150. Amen sister.
Why do celebrities always look so damn good in their bathing suits? Personal trainers, in-house chefs, and puking aside, they look good because their stylist dresses them every day (damn them). But you don't need a stylist. No, no child; that's what you have us for. 
At the risk of sounding a little bit nutso, we definitely think there is an art to packing the ultimate beach bag. If you can pack it up with essentials and still keep it light, then you've got the knack.
Surfing idol Laird Hamilton knows how to look good when he's riding a wave. He also looks pretty good on the beach. And he wants to make sure surfers all over are able to look good, too, while saving their pennies for new surf boards and Sex Wax.
