The rise of Suvi: Finnish model contest winner is now a Calvin Klein star

The winners of America's Next Top Model don't always go on to fashion careers, but in other countries it is a bit different. Suvi Koponen was the first winner of Mallikoulu, otherwise known as Model School, a program similar to ANTM. Now the Finnish waif is set to replace Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova in the Fall 2007 Calvin Klein ads since Natalia is currently pregnant with her third child. The minimalist photos show a full look in color opposite a detail shot in black and white. The look is a bit zombie-like and slim Suvi seems a bit more stern than the more sensual and vulnerable Natalia.
