KISS t-shirts: Rock, roll and vote

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really. He is voting.

If Gene Simmons of KISS knows anything, aside from being a rock god, it's how to make a profit. The guy will put his likeness, or Paul Stanley's apparently, onto anything. That's not a criticism, he's rich and we're sitting here typing our fingers to the bone. We'd like to put our likeness on some stuff, too. Rich looks good.

Speaking of looking good, check out these t-shirts (that, dear reader, is a segue). KISS has taken the popular images of presidential hopefuls John McCain and Barack Obama and given them a bit of a makeover. Or makeup as the case may be.

T-Shirt of the Day: Psycho Reindeer

Psycho Reindeer makes t-shirts and we'll talk about that, but first we should address the company name and figure out what it means. It isn't something to be ignored.

According to the company founder on the Psycho Reindeer website: When we were dating, my lovely wife gave me an old sawdust-stuffed reindeer toy as a Christmas gift. I liked it so much it became the namesake of my t-shirt company.

I believe he meant to say "an old psycho-stuffed reindeer," but regardless, it's still a fun name.

The shirts are even better:

Filed under: Clothing, Celebrities with Style, Green Fashion

The shirt will raise money for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, an organization started in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver. The charity has already gotten over $110 million from (RED) apparel and events.

Dress of the day - AE Ruffle Dress

Filed under: Clothing, Dresses, Must Haves

American Eagle promises that we will love this dress as much as we love our favorite T and we're inclined to believe them. This dress is just as easy to wear as any tee - with the added bonus that pants are completely optional!

We love the perfect casual vibe of this dress and have decided this will be our new Saturday morning go-to dress. We'd wear this one with black tights or layer it over a long-sleeved tee and skinny jeans (gotta find a way to recycle those!) and go out into the world to run our errands in comfort.
