Cameron Diaz in Seven for all Mankind - I want that!

Filed under: Celebrities with Style, Get the Look

Ah, one of our favorites. California girl Cameron Diaz always manages to get the perfect mix of fun, casual, sophistication. Here she walked the red carpet in Seven for all Mankind jeans with a simple Thom Browne top. To add a little color she wore strappy red heels and a beautiful red lip.

Dress of the Day: Grommet Knit Dress

Filed under: Clothing, Dresses, Must Haves

target mossimo red grommet knit minidressI am tempted to slip into a sunny little sundress today. February. Just past Valentine's Day, and it felt like...summer?Y esterday, I kid you not, it was probably 90 degrees in LA, and it is looking like it will be the same today.

But I will resist, holding off Spring things as long as I can, and put on a simple, comfortable knit minidress with a drop waist from Target. Mossimo Red's Ribbed Neck Grommet Knit Dress is has short-sleeves, so while it's still cool enough to wear about town doing Sunday things, it's not quite pushing the summer envelope. The dress has a v-neck and features grommets at the dropped waist with drawstrings to let loose or pull tight and short. Even if the "Sea Fare" color is not quite your style, how can you go wrong with it only costing $17.99?

Dress of the Day: Mossimo Tunic Shirtdress

Filed under: Clothing, Dresses, Must Haves

mossimo tunic shirtdressIt's back to work, Boss Lady.

Of course, we're also counting down to the Holidays, which means work and life are hectic and you certainly have the freedom to be a little more comfortably casual in the office (at least, that's what I'm doing until I get an email from HR).

The Tunic Shirtdress by Mossimo from Target is probably a little bit too short at mid-thigh to wear by itself, but over a pair of thick leggings, it's perfect. If your office is casual enough, you could even do it over a nice pair of "work jeans." The dress is made of 100% cotton poplin, has a loose fit, and and the 3/4-length sleeves are perfect to give you the agility at your laptop. (I hate sleeves that get in my way when I'm working.)

The dress is only $15.99 at Target and also comes in Caffe Latte, Blue, and Black.

Dress of the Day: Metro 7 Babydoll

Filed under: Stores We Love, Must Haves

walmart's metro 7 babydoll dressMost of us are quite familiar with Isaac Mizrahi and the International "Go" lines that Target offers for trendier fashions. However, many of us may not know that Wal-Mart, too, has a "high end" apparel line. Metro 7, which debuted last fall, doesn't have any named designed attached to it, but the clothes are aimed at "hip urban fashionistas" who previously would come in for things like cereal and toilet paper, but would turn their noses up at " cheap, dowdy clothes now spilling off hangers."

This dress is from Wal-Mart's Metro 7 line -- a simple, sleeveless jersey babydoll dress with a deep V that overlaps in a little bit of modesty. The neckline and arms have a tiny ruffle. The waist is comfrtably elasticized and like the neckline, has an organza ribbon detail and sparkles. The dress comes in both black and grey with black detail, but the best part of the dress is that it probably costs less than that bulk toilet paper. It's only $16.94! The dress can be purchased online or in stores.

Target does a naughty Coach knock-off

coach knock-offThere really is no way of stopping people from knocking off designer handbags and clothing, but we expect to see them for sale in places like downtown LA or in the open-air street markets in Asia. Not in Target.

Designer handbag maker Coach is suing Target for $1 million. According to the suit, which was filed last Friday in New York, the discount super-store sold a counterfeit Coach bag in at least one of its stores. The knock-off bag copied Coach's signature design logo and even went so far as attaching the "Coach" tag. It was sold from a Target store in Largo, Florida.

Don't worry. The Coach handbags we're giving away are the real deal.
