Megan Fox Pulls Another Angelina Jolie!

Is Megan Fox the new Angelina Jolie? From left to right: Angelina in January 2009, Megan Fox at the Transformers premiere last night (June 23). Photo: WireImage | FilmMagic

When we first saw photos of Megan Fox at the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" premiere last night (June 23), we thought of two words: Angelina Jolie.

Fox walked the red carpet in a Kaufman Franco white one-shoulder Grecian dress (above right). Don't get us wrong, the actress looked hot, but she also looked like she borrowed it straight from Jolie's closet.

Jolie stepped out in a Max Azria dove gray, asymmetrical gown (above left) for the 14th Annual VH1 Critics Choice Awards back in January.

Joel Madden - Too Inked to Fly

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

We already have more than enough to worry about when boarding a plane: Will our lip gloss and hand sanitizer be confiscated? Is everything in the right sized Ziploc? And now, apparently, we have to worry about our tattoos showing. On Saturday, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden was forced to cover up his ink with a long-sleeved shirt before boarding a British Airways flight.

Celebrity Tattoos

Sure, Joel Madden has a lot of ink going on. But really, do you find it offensive?

Christina Aguilera shows her love of music with a lower back tat.

Alyssa Milano has never had a problem showing her wild side. Do you think her ankle ink works with her sexy image?

Eve's pawprint tattoos on her chest are some of the most recognizable tats in the industry. They work for her, but we think they fall within the realm of "don't try this at home."

Scarlett Johansson's brightly colored sunset on her forearm had people wondering whether it was real or something she got from a box of cereal. Turns out, she'd had the art for a year before anyone noticed it!

Christina Applegate's blonde hair and blue eyes make her seems so sweet and innocent, but the tattoos on her ankles are a little more reminiscent of her days as Kelly Bundy.

In addition to the Sanskrit character for lotus flower that Jessica Alba has on her wrist (shown here), she also has a flower and ladybug on the back of her neck and a bow tattoo on the small of her back.

Drew Barrymore's stylized cross tat is one of many on the actress' body, including an angel, butterfly, flowers, and a moon.

Britney Spears has this lip tattoo that, according to some, is a symbol of love.

This is far from the only ink on Rachel Evan Wood's creamy skin, but it's definitely the most visible on the red carpet!

Rather than pitching a fit or making a scene, Madden decided to comply with the request, but got even by Twittering about it. He tweeted the whole debacle, which made the British Airways' employee's request seem all the more absurd. Madden wrote, "yes i covered up to board the BA flight. I didn't want to miss it. And honestly i was embarrassed all the people were staring and laughing!"

Animal Print Bags - Hot and Affordable!

faux designer bag from handbag heavenWe've been intrigued by some of the crazy animal print handbags out there, but the high price tags on designer models made us step away from the giraffe pattern. It just seems silly to spend so much money on a bag that you wind up with a pretty, but empty, tote.

Nicole Richie says no tooth-art for Joel Madden

Filed under: Skin Care, Celebrities with Style

A couple of weeks ago, we were disturbed surprised to learn that some enterprising dentists in Utah were starting to offer tattoos that can be etched into your teeth -- as if your visits to the dentist didn't already cost enough. We thought: over the age of 15, who the hell would want one of these? Today, we found out. In an attempt to bypass Nicole's objection to skin art, Joel thought he could maybe sneak a portrait of their 6 month-old daughter Harlow, on his teeth.

Apparently, when Nicole heard this, she freaked out and had to put her foot down. Joel wanted the tat on one of his front teeth, ensuring maximum fugliness. First off, if you're going to put it in plain view, you better always have a infinite supply of Altoids. Second, a tooth tat is always going to look like a rotten piece of tooth decay, no matter what. Gross.

What's wrong with carrying baby pictures in you wallet?

Angelina's tattoos are growing, geeky

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

Angelina is a sucker for tattoos. Apparently, she's got at least 13 known tatts -- not including the couple that she's had removed -- like the "Billy Bob" tattoo on her left shoulder. If any of you have been stumped by the weird mess of letters and numbers occupying the real estate that used to belong to Thornton, they're not hieroglyphics. They're actually a little nerdier/cooler than that.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, they're the map coordinates of where each of her four children were born -- you know latitude, longitude, minutes, all that junk. Apparently, geotagging geeks the world over are all excited about Jolie inking 2 more coordinates on her shoulder so they can look them up on Google Earth.

Pamela Anderson is getting un-inked

Remember how your mother told you not to get a tattoo, that you'd regret it later in life? You know, because they're permanent and all. Well, at least in the case of Pamela Anderson, it turns out that mother's advice was right on. And, because Mother's Day is coming up, we'll take this opportunity to congratulate mothers for always being right about stuff.

Over the years, Pamela's got a lot of mileage out of her trademark barbed wire ink, but now that tattoo trends have changed -- and her skin is beginning to show the inevitable signs of gravity -- she's hooking up with Beverly Hills tattoo removal specialist Dr. Tattoff before things start to get ugly. Could it be that Pamela's ahead of the curve on the next celebrity trend: tattoo removal.

Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes are in a style war

Supposed BFF's for life, Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes are in a style war. Even though Posh Spice helped to create Katie's new mature look, it seems there's now a bit of a rivalry between the two.

Everything started when Victoria landed the cover of British Vogue. Katie had her eyes on that cover and she was really upset when the editors chose Victoria over her.

eBay WTF of the day: Announcement!

This heart is dripping with saccharine pain.Oh my gosh! You're engaged! You must be, because you're wearing this awesome Bride to Bee temporary tattoo!

Yes. On that fateful day your boyfriend falls to his knee and asks for your hand, surely your first thought will be: "How will I make sure everyone knows?"

As he slips the engagement ring onto your finger, you'll be thinking "I know, I'll get a temporary tattoo! Of...of...of a feminine bumblebee seductively carrying a dripping heart with the words 'Bride to' over it!"

Then of course, you'll wrack your brains trying to think where you can get such a tattoo. The answer, naturally, is eBay.

Whew! I totally just solved a hypothetical crisis for you.

I wonder what other temporary conditions one can announce via temporary tattoo! Pregnancy, surely. How about mood? I know I could use an "I'm Cranky" tattoo for a couple of days now and then. Or, you know when you crave frozen yogurt for like three days? Temporary tattoo.

Oh, Riverblue. You give me such ideas!

Scarlett Johansson sports kid's tattoo: New trend, or just lame?

Letting some stranger jab you with a needle over and over while they dye your skin with ink -- permanently -- takes some serious commitment. After all tattoos hurt, they look awful if you gain weight, and if you're really unlucky, can leave you with a spelling error forever etched into your neck -- so trust me kids, it's not a decision to be made lightly.

Unless you're Scarlett Johansson. She showed up at the London premiere of her new movie, The Other Boleyn Girl, adorned with this odd little decoration. Is it real? Just temporary? Did she steal it from a 10-year-old girl? Nobody knows.

But the overly-cutesy, ocean scape certainly leaves something to be desired, design-wise. Maybe it's a symbol for whatever pseudo-religious, trendy Hollywood cult thing she's into these days, or maybe it's an indication that Scarlett secretly decorates her bedroom with frilly pink unicorns jumping over rainbows and excessive amounts of Hello Kitty schwag.

Whatever it is, let's hope it washes off.

Taking Hello Kitty love to a whole new level

Kitty JesusSometimes people like to get tattoos of their favorite cartoon characters as a way of taking their fan-dedication to the next level. However, there is a line between "big fan" and "someone who is hyper-obsessed, with bad taste". This post is about a tattoo that falls in the latter category.

Styledash has reported on a lot of extravagant and weird ways that Hello Kitty fans have shown their love, but this "Hello Kitty is my Jesus" tattoo probably one of the most bizarre ones. First of all... Why? Why in the world would anyone want that? Is this the ultimate example of why people shouldn't get drunk near tattoo parlors? Or did a lucid person genuinely believe that this was a good idea? The strangest thing is that I find myself most weirded out by the fact that Hello Kitty has really awkward facial hair.

In three years' time, this person is going to be super-embarrassed by their tattoo choice. And by "three years", I mean "three days".

StyleFoul: Tattooing your boyfriend's name on your butt

Filed under: Celebrities with Style, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes

So you've been dating your new boyfriend or girlfriend for a few months, and things are going really good! They totally "get" you -- you know? Like, for who you are. It's so perfect and magical. Plus they're smart, and funny, and so hot. Wow! This feels like love!

Next step: make your devotion permanent, and tattoo their name on your butt.

Actually, wait. That's a stupid, stupid, stupid idea. Do you know any couples that are still together that have each other's names tattooed somewhere on their bodies? Probably not -- because it's like signing a death warrant for your relationship. I'm not sure why -- maybe it's the constant reminder of the permanence of your situation, or maybe it's because tattoos do something weird to your brain that makes you freak out about commitment. But one way or another, if you get inked, you're breaking up.

Just look at Halle Berry. She had David Justice's name tattooed on her butt when the two were married in the 90s. Then, of course, they divorced. So, rather than have all her future boyfriends reading her ex's name every time they checked our her derriere, Berry got re-inked. The actress turned Justice's name into a sunflower, "because when darkness descends they close up to regenerate."

But, she adds, "I really wish I'd never had the tattoo in the first place."

Lesson learned.

Britney's new hand tatt

Breaking up is hard to do, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Britney Spears has made several unwise decisions in the fall-out of her divorce from Fed-Ex. (Dare I even mention her lack of underwear?)

In brazen attempt to remind everyone in the universe that she is young, single and FABULOUS, the pop princess recently purchased a new hand tattoo in the shape of a small star. The hand tatt certainly isn't Britney's first inking -- she already has a fairy on her lower, some doo-dads on her hip, matching dice on her wrists as well as a couple of designs on the nape of her neck.

Now I don't want to discourage newly single Brit from doing what she wants, but if she is going to continue with the footloose and fancy-free body art trend, I will have no choice but to start drawing comparisons between her and a pirate wench. Of course, looking like a pirate wench sounds a lot better than being a Paris Hilton wannabe, so tattoo on, girl!
