Rubber Duck goes plaid for the fall

Rubber Duck is back with a fall collection filled with plaid. Fans like Lindsay Lohan, Sienna Miller and Hillary Duff will be excited to see that the LA/Copenhagen hipster line includes more choices of their infamous Snowjoggers, which are either tons better or a million times worse than Uggs, depending on your age and coolness orientation.

In addition to the Snowjoggers, you can also get tennis shoes and scarves in matching plaid. And to complete your Rubber Duck look, grab a pair of the brightly colored Wayfarer style sunglasses, or the porno-riffic "Las Vegas" goggle-style that we totally covet in white.

Need help putting together your perfect Rubber Duck outfit? In the gallery, a few of our choice favs, including those sexy sunglasses.

Tender toes tout: Adidas Johari ballet flats

We love the look of ballet flats and they are wonderfully convenient when you're traveling through airports -- easy on, easy off at the security checkpoint.

On the other hand, their thin soles can leave your feet feeling unsupported and sore. Plus we prefer something a little more robust, like tennis shoes, when we're trekikng around a new city.

Except, yuck, who wants to look like an ugly tourist in the tennis shoes? If only there was a cute pair of flats with nice cushiony soles...

Most of us have days involving a hundred errands in nearly as many places, meaning we've got a full day on our feet ahead of us. And, while sometimes a cute sandal or flat will work, sometimes a girl just wants a good, comfy pair of sneakers. However, deciding to sport a sneaker doesn't mean you have to give up on style!

Rock the country club with Fred Perry plimsolls

Filed under: Accessories, Clothing, Shoes, Men

Canvas plimsolls like these have been around forever and there's a reason for it -- you don't mess with a classic. When a style has been popular for like 100 years, you've got to give props to the original design. These plimsolls from Fred Perry take that advice to heart. They're basically the straight-forward classic version, with white canvas uppers, tartan green accents and the famous laurel logo, so you know that you're a classy gent.

Plimsolls might be a staple for anyone who plays a weekly tennis match with someone named Buffy, but the classic tennis shoes have style potential far beyond country club preppiedom. White shoes are great because they tend to catch the eye -- and land you lots of compliments.

I recommend rocking these babies with white jeans this spring, if you're feeling up to it. It may be a bold choice, but you'll freak all of your friends out with how refined and sophisticated you look.
