Music and fashion are intrinsically linked. The Queen of Pop knows that. So, when Madonna performs, her costumes come from nothing but the best designers available.

Ames Bros. and their quality gear

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Men, Celebrities with Style

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

Chances are you've seen an Ames Bros. product and didn't even realize it. Whether you're a fan of Pearl Jam or Leonardo DiCaprio, or possibly both, then you have seen the artwork of the brothers Ames. Actually, you've seen the creative work of Barry Ament and Coby Schultz. No relation.

Kylie Minogue unveils geisha look for her new tour

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

Anyone who knows anything about Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue knows that she is always sure to choose some flamboyant stage wear, most memorably the Moulin Rouge-style costumes she showcased on her last tour, which was appropriately titled Showgirl.

We've talked before about her Spiderman-themed outfit (or pretty sexy designer threads, depending on your opinion) but now she's unveiled pictures of the rest of her tour outfits for the world's press to admire/gape at in astonishment.

No Ozzfest, is goth dead?

Filed under: Style in the News, Vintage and Retro

Stock prices for Chain Wallets R' Us are plummeting on the news that Ozzy and company are not taking their metal showcase on the road. Instead, this year's Ozzfest is going to be a 1-day only event in Dallas' Pizza Hut Park -- we've never even heard of this place.

Here's the big question: without an Ozzfest tour, what's going to happen to goth fashion in this country? How will the interest in skulls, dragons and lightning bolts be kept alive for future generations? It doesn't seem like there's any other metal event that comes close to the magnitude of Ozzfest. We've even noticed that Hot Topic is starting to look like it wants to be Urban Outfitters.

Not that we're big fans of Ozzy or the tour, but this seems like it is going to send shockwaves through the leather pants industry. Are we losing yet another segment of rock fashion? Guess goth kids will have to get season passes to the renaissance fair.
