Paris Hilton shines in the season's hottest color

I'm not always the biggest fan of Paris Hilton's wardrobe choices, but I have to say that she's really rocking this dress in spring's trendiest hue, yellow. She looks bright, sunny, and ... classy! Here's why this look works so well:

The dress is really fun and feminine -- the halter is a flattering neckline and seriously springy. Pair that with the defined waist and full skirt, and you've got a perfect spring dress.
The color is, of course, one of the hottest choices this season. Paris' dress has a fun white print on it to make it stand out without making it too loud. Yellow, if paired with colors can be a bit much for some people, but paired with white (or navy) will work for just about anybody.

Poor Cindy Crawford...

Life can be brutal for aging supermodels -- she's too old for editorial work. She's a little too aged to do beauty beauty shots. Even companies like Eileen Fischer and St. John's, which are typically geared towards the older woman have now started to use models under 30 in their campaigns.

Past the age of 35, a model pretty much has to take what she can get to pay the bills and just hope that as you fade into obscurity everyone else will remember you best for what you did in your early career. A case in point is Cindy Crawford's latest ad campaign for the Turkish Leather Industry, which was printed in yesterday's WWD.

Don't worry, Cindy. I'll always remember you for the Diet Coke commercial.

Before I run off to give a very large bird a deep tissue massage with butter and an aromatherapy treatment of herbs and spices, I'd like to thank all of our Styledash readers and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving from the entire Styledash team.
