Britney Spears Tells All on MTV

Filed under: Style in the News, Videos, Celebrities with Style, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes, Interviews

Britney is back.

We keep saying that. It feels like, over the past couple of years, we've said that with a lot of different looks on our faces. Britney acknowledges that she's had some tough moments. "I'm a smart person ... what the hell was I thinking?" she says.

She may have to prove that "smart person" thing. Well, she said it in her upcoming interview and documentary on MTV: Britney Spears 'Sets the Record Straight.' Let's see if she does!

Kenley cries on Regis and Kelly

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes, Interviews

Kenley Collins of Project RunwayKenley Collins appeared yesterday on Regis and Kelly, along with the rest of the (then) remaining designers on this season's Project Runway.

The clip Regis and Kelly rolled included Kenley saying:

"It's a little annoying that the other three designers hate me"..."It just makes me wanna win this even more, and beat these other designers to the ground."

Shame on you Regis and Kelly! What a faux pas! Rolling that clip with Kenley sitting there in next to those very same designers! Still, she did say it...

Anyway, then she started to cry as Kelly interrogated her. Read on.

Mr. McCain is ready for his close up

(Think that's pricey? Click the photo to see all the cool stuff you can buy for $5,000)

The New York Post, (which is not exactly the newspaper of record, but still, they do tend to get the juicier scoops) reports that presidential candidate John McCain has spent $5,583.43 to pay a make up artist to get him ready for his appearances.

Hey, we understand. We've always wanted to have a personal hair and make up attendant, and you know what? $6k doesn't sound like that much money considering how hard the poor girl has to work. Look at him! He's old! HD is harsh!

We're sure that Cindy "$280k earrings" McCain, paid for the cosmetic services, so it's not like it came out of his government salary. Plus, you could think of it as one more way he's stimulating the economy, by throwing a little cash at the style-worker class. So, thanks John!

Size Matters: Whose body is better?

We are dying to know: Who do you think is hotter on the unmissable show Mad Men (watch it just for the clothes alone!). The amazing Joan Holloway (played by Christina Hendricks), with her full-figured fabulousness (one of the male characters lustily declared: "She is just so much woman!"). Or the traditionally skinny (and arguably drop-dead gorgeous) Betsy Draper (portrayed by January Jones)?

Let us know what you think!

"It's Dylan, you know the drill" - Kelly Taylor sure does!

Filed under: Men, Celebrities with Style, Daily Obsession, Beauty Tips

Kelly's baby daddy is DYLAN, it was revealed on Tuesday's 90210!

I thought the honors would go to my personal favorite, Brandon, especially with all the buildup of the fact that "he" was such a "do-gooder". But--hey--I'm not complaining!

So it seems a sure bet that that icon of bad boys Dylan McKay will return to the small screen (please, please, please let the Brenda/Dylan/Kelly love triangle return. I've been so good!)

So, when you do the math, handsome Luke is 43. We hope he's been slathering on the moisturizer, religious about SPF, and massaging the ol' scalp, or at least using great hair products. We KNOW he still still sets our hearts aflutter, and that he will always hold the patent on brooding, surfing, and keeping Brenda and Kelly at each other's throats.

Now when are Brandon, Steve, and David visiting the world's chicest code?

Calvin Klein Secret Obsession - Eva Mendes' sexy perfume in stores October '08

By now you've all seen the racy Eva Mends ads for Calvin Klein Secret Obsession that were deemed too sexy (oooh, nipple!) for tv. In all the nudity hulabaloo, it's easy to forget that it was an ad for an actual product, the modern update of the iconic Obsession perfume.

Michael Kors to appear on Gossip Girl

Filed under: Style in the News

Like champagne and strawberries or schoolgirl skirts and fall, certain shows are just a perfect match for designer guest stars. And now, they're bringing in Michael Kors to add to the shows fashion cred.

Britain's Missing Top Model explores the question of beauty and disability

Filed under: Style in the News

A new BBC show is ready to challenge the fashion world's notions about marketable beauty. Britain's Missing Top Model, like American's Next Top Model and the ilk, brings together several beauties and puts them through a series of competitions where they have to use real life modeling "skills." The winner is awarded with an exclusive photo spread in Marie Claire, and presumably lasting fame and fortune.

The twist? These models all have some form of disability.

Gah. As much as we hate Heather Mills and would rather stick pins in our eyes than give her credit, perhaps all of her gawking around on Dancing With The Stars did some good.
