Filed under: Swimwear and Lingerie, Product Reviews

Beyoncé. Beyoncé. Beyoncé. Okay, now that we've said her name enough for this review, let's look at House of Deréon, the fashion collections designed by Tina Knowles. We found out she goes by "Miss Tina," during a recent showroom visit to preview her S/S '09 collection of intimates and sleepwear. This totally exclusive preview comes courtesy of photographer Michel O'Shea and Yelena (RED Models), with beauty by Kelly Pearson for K's salon.

Buy Michael Jackson's undies for a million bucks

Filed under: Style in the News

We don't have a problem shelling out a bit of cash for underwear -- our favorite brands don't come cheap, you know. However, when we spend our hard earned dollars on unmentionables, they'd better be new and unworn, neither of which qualities can be used to describe the tightie-whities formerly belonging to Michael Jackson that a New Jersey businessman has put up for sale on eBay.

We tried it, we liked it: Elements of BlissWire Underwire bra

Filed under: Swimwear and Lingerie, Product Reviews

A couple of weeks ago we filled you in on a new bra entering the market -- Warner's Elements of BlissWire bra. Well, our friends at Warner's provided us with a sample to try out so we could see for ourselves whether the Elements of BlissWire bra was truly a new level of comfort. We've had a chance to wear it around, and we've made our decision.

Passport Panties: Discreet emergency equipment for gals on the go

Filed under: Swimwear and Lingerie, Daily Obsession

Ladies, we think you'll agree that most of us have encountered a situation in which we could have used a fresh pair of panties handy. Perhaps your monthly visitor came a few days early and you're stuck at work, or you're on a trip and the airline lost your luggage (including clean undies). Or, maybe it's laundry day and your biggest crush asked you out, and you don't feel like having dinner in the granny panties you scrounged up this morning.

Shape fx makes the body you have the body you want

Summer brings with it all sorts of events for which we want to look our best -- weddings, reunions, vacations, you name it. Maybe you have a couple extra lumps or bumps that you'd like to smooth out, but can't work out six hours a day or hire a personal chef -- don't worry. We've got the solution: Shape fx.

You might already have Spanx or Assets to smooth everything out under your clothes, but wouldn't it be easier if your clothes themselves held everything in place? That's the beauty of Shape fx. Their dresses, tops, pants and skirts use a variety of methods to make you look slim and smooth.

Must-haves for your lingerie drawer

As far as lingerie goes, your specific "needs" will be dependent upon your lifestyle. And we don't mean just your nightlife. If you wear a a lot of skirts and pants that show your pantylines, you need no-show panties. If your pants tend to be of the low-rise variety, you need some undies that will stay low, too. And, if you're an athlete, you need undergarments that stay in place during strenuous activity (you know, the kind of strenuous activity that requires you to keep your clothes on).

According to Divine Caroline, there are five things every woman needs to have in her lingerie drawer. Check out the gallery to see what they are, and be sure to let us know if you'd add anything to the list!

Tried Spanx? Look thinner in these 'Power Panties'

Embarrassed about your figure but too lazy to do anything about it? Dying to wear that ultra-tight new dress but don't have the courage to avoid panty lines by going commando? Well ladies, this is the product you've been looking for.

Introducing Spanx, the company launched back in 1998, was discovered by Oprah in 2002, and has been on a path to success ever since. Essentially a girdle, these ultra-undergarments suck in your wobbly parts -- so you don't have to. If you're looking for a way to look smoother and slimmer this season in spite of those holiday cookies, this is it.

However, a word of caution. If you're planning on getting any action at the office holiday party this year, I'd leave the Spanx at home. There's nothing less sexy than taking off a woman's dress only to discover she's been hiding her other half under some taut spandex.

Can an undergarment fix cellulite?

Cass and Co., a line of fashionable slimming garments is coming out with a new product that promises to not only hold in your lumpy bits and still the jiggle but actually improve your skin. Their Wear Repair line uses a fabric which contains copper that designer Susan Ledyard says acts like a firming cream in fabric form. The copper-enhanced fibers are said to improve skin elasticity and decrease fine lines and wrinkles and yes, reduce cellulite. The new line retails from $68 - $128. The styles come in black and nude in sizes S/M (0-6), M/L (8-10) and L/XL (12-16) and are available as a scoop T-shirt with 3/4 sleeves, capri length leggings and a boy short. They say you have to wear it often for best results. I've never had much luck with cellulite creams so I'm skeptical about this, curious, but skeptical.
