eBay WTF of the Day: MAJOR TRENDS vest

I hail from the planet Zaag. Really? We're gonna have to call a WTF all over this zippered vest.

First of all, seller Goodbuybarry has listed this item as "UNUSUAL METAL MASK! Black & Brown WOOL Vest SZ XL." Really? Is the metal mask what sets it apart? We think the most distinctive thing about this vest is that it looks exactly like a Star Trek uniform.

And the mask? Just makes it look more like a Star Trek uniform. Okay, not exactly-exactly. This will have to be deemed a uniform for someone from a planet we just made up called Zaag.

Aubrey O'Day at the 'Traitor' Premiere - StyleFoul!

Filed under: Celebrities with Style, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes

Okay, the good news is that Aubrey O'Day is not exactly known for dressing well, so it's not like she's letting anybody down here. In fact, if she showed up wearing something that didn't look like either an overly psychadelic relic from Cirque du Soleil, or random pieces picked up from the floor in the dark, back corners of Forever 21, or a rejected costume from a Sonny and Cher: It's a Drag! show, we'd be a little disappointed.

The bad news is that Bjork's swan dress had to die to make this, uh, vest happen.

Help your dog stay cool in the dog days

Just like us, dogs can suffer from dehydration and heat exhaustion. They do their best to stay cool by panting, but since they can't exactly sweat, it's tough for them to beat the heat.

There are all kinds of contraptions on the market that use space-age polymer technology and old fashioned evaporation to help you do right by your best friend. From cooling vests to crate fans, to simple travel water bowls, it's easy to keep your pet cool. And that makes you cool, too.

eBay WTF of the Day: Ludicrous vest

There's a lot going on here.
Wow, Bunny1313witch. There's a lot going on here. This is a sparkly, peach, crocheted, stretchy vest with "lures" dangling from it. We hereby declare this vest ludicrous.

How do these things get made? The listing says "Sorry label is no longer there." Our question: you mean this was purchased at a store? Someone with an actual label made this. . .like this? Covered in glittering plastic bait? WTF?

Who would wear this Frilly Vest?

Filed under: Clothing, Celebrity Fashion Mistakes

frilly vestEvery once in a while, in my travels around the Internet, I come across something that isn't very pretty. I usually look at it, perhaps comment in my head, "That's ugly," then click on through. However, on a rare occasion, I will come across something that is a little more than just "not pretty." I do a double take. I shake my head. And with my hand over my agape mouth, I post it here because I have to know...would you wear something like this electric blue quilted vest that looks like it belongs in the closet of the Sta-Puf Marshmallow Man's grandmother?!?!

I think what hurt more than what the vest actually looks like is the price. The Frilly Vest is $170.

Lilly Pulitzer Vest

lilly pulitzer vest Lilly Pulitzer isn't the first designer you think of when you think of fall clothes. In fact. she might very well be the last designer you think of. Pulitzer is famous for her exuberant floral prints and her candy-colored clothing including pink and green outfits much beloved by the set who thinks that preppie never dies. The Lilly aesthetic is summer on the Cape, resort in Palm Beach but they now offer a few outfits you can wear once the mercury dips. The fall catalog is full of outfits that are cold-weather ready but just as bright as any of their summer garments. The reversible puffer vest shown here comes in a variety of colors all with the "Radcliffe Yard" print on the interior. The vest sells for $158.
