DB Clay's eco-chic billfolds

For most dudes, a wallet isn't a high priority fashion item. It's something we sit on all day and most of the time there's nothing in there but a receipt and a credit card. Well, next time you bust out your wallet to pay for something -- since you're not going to impress anyone with your amazing bankroll -- why not at least distract them with your awesome taste and sense of environmentally responsibility?

DB Clay's wallets are made from an eco-friendly, 100% vegan material and are decorated with a non-toxic, high resolution printing process. This nearly indestructible material is called Tope -- it has a similar feel to leather or vinyl canvas, only it's completely non-toxic and biodegradable. The designs are what set these babies apart though, we really like Time to Swim. Oh yeah, did we mention that tope is water-resistant? Carrying a wet wallet around sucks.

If this is news to you, just take a moment to think about all the places you set your handbag -- floors, chairs, etc. And then, chances are, you set it on the kitchen counter, on the table, and you certainly touch the bottom with your hands, right?

As it turns out, there's more than just a little dirt there -- everything from e-coli and salmonella to fecal contamination and vomit has been found on random handbags. Lifestyle does play a role, with nightclub frequenters and those with children having the dirtiest bags (doesn't that make you wonder what's on Nicole Richie's purse?).
