What to wear on Election Day

Today is the big day, fellow Americans. And there are two burning questions on everybody's minds -- for whom will you be casting your vote -- and what will you be wearing while doing so?

Vintage Vantage: Vintage shirts at old school prices

Filed under: Style in the News, Clothing, Vintage and Retro, Men

Whit Honea is a slacker, a borderline degenerate, and a daydream believer. He's also our resident expert on casual chic. If it's comfortable, and not heinous, he's all over it. He's quite charming, really.

We really like Vintage Vantage, and not just because they were soaked in voting controversy (guess where it started? We're looking at you Florida) or that they are officially at war with the country of Denmark, valid reasons they both may be. No, we like them because they make great shirts.

Can this bra encourage female voters?

Filed under: Events: On the Scene, Swimwear and Lingerie

There's plenty of ways to get people interested in voting and the political process. Every year around elections there's politicians, celebrities, and out-of-touch music networks all telling you to "get out there and vote!"

By all accounts, none of this seems to work very well, so one company has come up with an odd little solution -- particularly for women voters.

They've created a bra.

What does that have to do with voting, you ask? I'm not sure, but Triumph, the company behind the idea, thinks that by creating a sexy piece of lingerie, they'll inspire more women to become engaged in the political process (the photo at right was there attempt at getting people pumped about the postal service). I don't know if this will be on sale for the general public, or if it's just a publicity stunt, but I hope it's available for everyone.

Regardless of whether or not it works, the idea of a bunch of Japanese women running around dressed like sexy ballot boxes cracks me up.
