People's Revolution employee angry about portrayal on The Hills

Feel the love with HayLuv jewelry

Filed under: Accessories, Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

What's the perfect piece of jewelry for spring? If you ask me, it's something that's beautifully original, goes with everything, and has a feel-good vibe to it. If it happens to be something that's been sported on the red carpet, all the better.

If you agree with me and you're looking for a spectacular piece to add to your collection, look no further -- HayLuv has what you need. Celebrities like Molly Sims, Maria Menounos, Hayden Panenttiere and The Hills' Whitney Port are all fans, and it's easy to see why.

HayLuv comes from the creative mind of Hayley Schwartz, who went from being a fashion photographer to a jewelry designer when she saw the need for distinctive jewelry that gives a girl a signature piece to wear day or night. Her bold style and personal flare have gone into a line that truly has something for just about anybody. Check the gallery and her website to see what I mean!

Prada presents "Trembled Blossoms"

Filed under: Style in the News, Celebrities with Style

Miuccia Prada has been all about the multimedia experiments over the past couple of years. Trembled Blossoms is her latest product. The short film -- 4 minutes in length, to be exact -- was presented during L.A. Fashion Week. It had previously been shown during New York Fashion Week.

The film is considered to be a "classic animated cartoon, supported by modern techniques." It was directed by James Lima.

Of course, all of Hollywood was there to see the grand debut. When a big fashion name comes knocking on L.A.'s door, you don't say no. Otherwise the most exciting thing you'll see at L.A. Fashion Week is Lauren Conrad's new collection. Woohoo.

Anyways, L.A.'s finest came out for the night and they were definitely dressed to impress. To see some of the hits and misses of the evening click through the gallery. But, first a warning. There were a few great outfits, but mostly, just a whole lot of crazy. Be prepared.

"The Hills" star Whitney Port creates clothing line

Filed under: Style in the News

Another day. Another celebrity clothing line.

Just days after Lauren Conrad debuted her rather weak spring collection at LA Fashion Week, here comes word that yet another cast member from "The Hills" will be trying their hand in fashion.

Today, WWD reports, that LC's reality television co-hort Whitney Port will be launching her own clothing line called Eve & A this fall. The 15-piece collection will consist of convertible dresses, tops and jackets that will wholesale for $40 to $250.

Although Port didn't pretend to learn attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising like Conrad, Port's father Jeff owns the apparel company Swarm, which manufactures the young men's line Shades of Gray. The company will also be backing Whitney's line. Everyone: Awwwww

The Eve & A collection will be debuting in the Movement showroom today at the Los Angeles market. But don't fret people. You'll be able to catch a sneak preview before next fall: The looks are said to be appropriate enough for Whitney "to don at her next gig as an intern at the public relations firm People's Revolution."

The new season of "The Hills" airs March 24.
