Upcycling Coffee Filters Into A Flower Light

In Random Recast, I find more stylish new uses for the ordinary items in our lives. This week, it's all about coffee filters.
This floral lantern might not be for the serious decor-minded person, but makes an incredibly cheery focal point. (And it's also something to keep in mind for parties and wedding receptions.) I chose this one not only because it's, well, amazing, but also because it combines two Random Recast projects from earlier this week: The coffee filter rose bouquet and the hanging pendant light. Basically, you make the coffee filter flowers first and then hot glue it to a plain hanging lantern. Simple, right?
