Although Emily Blunt looks like the picture of femininity on the September cover of Elle UK, the 27-year-old newlywed admits it's not her default style.

"I think I tend to dress quite hard," she tells the magazine in the accompanying article. "I'm definitely not a frilly girl and I don't wear dresses that much."

Yet, naturally, when she does wear them, she looks fabulous.

For the cover, the British actress wears sexy head-to-toe lace, donning a sheer blush and black dress from Valentino's Fall 2010 collection paired with black lace tights. Inside, she wears lots of flowy frocks in varying states of transparency.

"My style has changed, I hope dramatically. Because it started off kind of worrying and questionable," Blunt says in this behind-the-scenes video of the shoot.

"I now own what I wear, and I guess I dress a bit stronger now, a bit tougher than I used to. When I was a kid I used to like wearing men's colorful vests with white jeans. So, hopefully it's changed a bit."


And when it comes to dressing herself for big awards shows or movie premieres, Blunt says the fashion police are the least of her concerns.

"When it's a red-carpet thing, I think it's good to just go for it," she says. "Who cares if someone hates it? If I love something -- if I think it's edgy and cool -- I don't care what anyone else thinks."

The star is equally down-to-earth when it comes to images of her in magazines and once again discusses her distaste for airbrushing.

"I don't like it when they stretch you out and make you all long and skinny," she says. "It makes you look like a Barbie. Who the hell looks like that?"

Final destination: The loony bin?

Not quite. Proving that she really knows how to make an entrance, Lady Gaga landed in Houston -- the latest stop on her tour -- wearing a white strait jacket-style dress.

It's like "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"... literally.

Sporting her signature heavy black sunglasses, sky-high black heels, and a messy bleached blonde bob, the singer struggled to Texas two-step her way out of the airport thanks to the tight restraints binding her legs together.

You'd have thought she'd have learned her lesson about practical airport wear after that whole heel-less platform boots-induced Heathrow stumble, but apparently not.

Hmmm -- maybe she is nuts!

The tales of steals and deals from Super Saturday are so outlandish, they make people want to travel to the Hamptons from far and wide. Half-price Marc Jacobs? Hundred-dollar handbags? Donna Karan in the flesh, helping you shop? All true.

This widely publicized shopper's paradise, the proceeds of which benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF), happens in East Hampton, NY, this weekend.

If you're not lucky enough to get in on the action, don't fret: QVC is offering its own version of Super Saturday, with a special two-hour segment featuring red-carpet interviews with celebs at the sale as well as Super Saturday deals.

Starting at 2 pm this Saturday (July 31), QVC will offer fashion, jewelry, accessories, and home bits at half the suggested retail price, with net proceeds benefiting the OCRF.

Some of the brands available on QVC include Amrita Singh and Judith Ripka jewelry; Nars, Bare Escentuals, Tarte, and L'Oréal cosmetics; Theory fashion and more.

"'QVC Presents Super Saturday Live' continues to be one of our most exciting shows of the year," Claire Watts, president of QVC's U.S. commerce, said in a statement.

"To have the opportunity to work with OCRF and help raise money for such a great cause is truly amazing."

Kim Kardashian and devoted shopper Kelly Ripa appear in the public service announcement promoting QVC's event and both will be at Super Saturday. Ripa has served as the host of the event for the past six years and has been taken to task for her own haul.

"It's guilt-free shopping at bargain-basement prices," she said in a statement. "No husband can argue with that, not even my own!"

Super Saturday was founded in 1998 by Donna Karan and Harper's Bazaar editor Liz Tilberis, who was then suffering from ovarian cancer. She passed away one year later.

Holy moly!

Shakira is on fire right now. The singing superstar opened and closed the 2010 World Cup, has an international hit ("Waka Waka"), continues to sell millions of albums, and is kicking off a U.S. tour this September

Adding to the list? A new perfume called S by Shakira will launch this September in over 15,000 stores, including drugstores and mass- and mid-tier department stores.

Shakira told WWD in a phone interview: "My feeling is that personal care and beauty should not only be effortless but accessible for everyone."

The singer is in good company -- parent company Puig also owns the highly successful Antonio Banderas fragrance franchise.

According to WWD, Shakira was hands-on during the creation process and explored all the different notes that were meaningful to her -- specifically, scents from her childhood like chocolate and strawberries, baby skin, and honey.

"I've always dreamed about coming up with a fragrance I could enjoy and share with others," she told WWD. "I hope people feel they are sharing my essence."

S by Shakira is a rich, feminine scent with notes of jasmine, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and resins.

Smartly, Puig will use the U.S. tour as an opportunity to pass out samples to thousands of Shakira fans.

"The Bachelorette" star Ali Fedotowsky will reportedly receive a Neil Lane engagement-ring proposal -- "on bended knee" -- from one of her two final suitors on the show's Aug. 2 season finale, a source tells StyeList.

But will the unlucky-in-love Massachusetts beauty give her chosen one a fashionable yes?

While you'll have to tune in to see the outcome, we do have the scoop on what the pretty blonde will be wearing as the drama unfolds: Fedotowsky was outfitted for her Bora Bora proposal scenes in a shimmering champagne-colored, silk-chiffon customized Alberto Makali gown, selected for her by the show's resident stylist, Cary Fetman.

The gown, which originally had straps, was altered to suit the reality star's desire for a strapless look that was "soft and flowing," according to sources familiar with her choice.

Some of the original version's crystal beading was removed from along the bustline for a more subtle effect.

"She wanted to look glamorous but also be relaxed and comfortable," one source revealed to StyleList.

After considering several options, Fedotowsky chose the Makali gown because it suited her vision of how she wanted to look for a possible proposal, the source adds. "It really was her dream dress and she had no regrets." (About the dress, anyway!)

As for the ring, which will be center stage at the "most dramatic final-rose ceremony, ever," jeweler to the stars Neil Lane once again assumes his role as the show's go-to bling bearer.

But fans of this reality franchise-turned soap opera know designer gowns and celebrity-style engagement rings rarely mean happy endings (shout-out to Jake Pavelka), so we're expecting some inevitable drama surrounding Fedotowsky's designer-clad romantic conclusion.

"It's a great finale, terrific really, and not like any we've had on the show," a source familiar with the ABC show tells StyleList. "There are a lot of twists and turns, and it will be really really interesting for viewers to see how it turns out."

Will the ring be presented to "The Bachelorette" by her most valuable player -- the refined baseball-ace turned salesman Roberto Martinez? He is, after all, the man who had her at "hello."

Or will Fedotowsky surprise viewers by choosing rugged and witty landscaper Chris Lambton as her final-rose recipient? (A sweet, but unlikely scenario, according to "The Bachelorette" rumor mill and our sources.)

No word yet on whether both Martinez and Lambton met with Lane to choose engagement rings for Fedotowsky or if only one of the final two contemplated a proposal.

The finale comes as a variety of intriguing rumors circulate about Fedotowsky's choices. Normally spot-on "Bachelorette" blogger Reality Steve has been reporting for weeks that Fedotowsky ends the season single, while Us Weekly has done two cover stories that suggest she's engaged to Martinez and planning a 2011 wedding. And now tabloids have begun hinting that she's hooked up with pro football player Matt Leinart. (Our source shot that rumor down with an emphatic "No!")

StyleList has learned that ABC closed the set for the recent filming of its post-production "After the Final Rose" special, where Fedotowsky met with Martinez, Lambton, and another finalist, Frank Neuschaefer, to discuss the season's outcome.

Neuschaefer, who at times seemed to be Fedotowsky's favorite, dumped her during filming to rekindle a relationship with an old girlfriend in his native Chicago.

The "ATFR" show has been filmed without a studio audience only one other time: When former "Bachelor" Jason Mesnick dumped his chosen one, Melissa Rycroft, for runner up Molly Malaney. Hmm.

Meanwhile, read what Jake Pavelka's ex Vienna Girardi has been up to since the couple ended their romance in true tabloid fashion.

Designer-denim fiends should head over to Net-A-Porter, where the first shipment of Victoria Beckham Denim just hit the e-retailer's virtual shelves.

For fall, the world's most famous soccer mom is continuing the themes from her Spring 2010 collection of clean lines, sexy panels, and zipper detailing.

The first two super-skinny styles available on the site include a $315 mid-rise light blue pair with angular gray cord panels on the lower leg, and a $450 low-rise black pair with gold zippers cutting across the hips, thighs, and ankles.

We also got a glimpse of two other soon-to-be-released pairs we think are even better than the first shipment. One is a black waxed denim motorcycle pant with rumpled knees, zip-up hems, and paneling. Another is a narrow, bleached-out pair that is practically white and spotted with man-made rips on the thighs and knees.

As more pieces roll out, expect to see luxe embellishments like antique mirrors, beaten metal, and Lurex and lace inserts combined with the denim, in addition to dip-dyed hems and ruching.

Beckham is also expanding her jersey capsule collection to include cropped wool cardigans and vests and leather pieces such as the iconic bomber, as well as second-skin Napa leather leggings, all made in Italy.

The lines at NYC's JFK Airport increased quite a bit when Jennifer Garner and daughter Seraphina Rose turned up: The adorable duo wore matching stripes!

But while jeans-clad Garner, 38, opted for a navy blue T-shirt with thin white stripes, she dressed her sweet 17-month-old in a candy-cane-inspired red-and-white hoodie, along with a gray tee and pink sweats.

Sunny Seraphina accessorized her outfit with summery watermelon barrettes.

Mrs. Ben Affleck has been spending time in New York City filming a remake of the 1981 comedy "Arthur" with British comic Russell Brand, but arrived back home in L.A. with Seraphina and her big sis Violet, 4.

Though Garner was still dressed in the same jeans and shirt she wore when she boarded the plane, budding fashionista Seraphina made her exit rocking an entirely new outfit: an Eiffel Tower T-shirt and lavender sweats. Girl, we like your style!

You've come a long way, baby!

Almost 20 years after making his name as the briefs-baring front man of the Funky Bunch, the artist formerly known as Marky Mark got his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

And befitting his new role as a serious ack-tor and producer, Mark Wahlberg sported some serious threads to the ceremony: a Giorgio Armani taupe herringbone two-button peak lapel suit with a white shirt and a silver and taupe textured tie.

No word if the boy from Beantown wore Calvin Klein undies underneath.

Wahlberg, 39, initially hit the entertainment scene in 1991 as a rapper, scoring a No. 1 single with "Good Vibrations."

Often performing with his pants on the ground, he signed a deal to become the spokes-crotch of Calvin Klein Underwear one year later, and appeared in a series of print and TV ads alongside a topless Kate Moss.




By 1993, he had transitioned to acting and went on to make a big impression in "Boogie Nights," as well as "The Perfect Storm" and "The Departed." Next, he'll flex his funny bone opposite Will Ferrell in "The Other Guys," a comedy in theaters Aug. 6.

Wahlberg, the executive producer of HBO's "Entourage," is married to model Rhea Durham, with whom he has four children. His star, the 2,414th on the Walk of Fame, is located on Hollywood and Vine.

And to think, it all began with a pair of tighty-whities!

Hmmm. Either we've suddenly developed X-ray vision, or see-through garments are getting some serious play of late.

Justin Timberlake is bringing his brand of cool to Target.

A limited-edition collection of the William Rast clothing line, which Timberlake co-founded with childhood friend Trace Ayala, is set to hit Target and Target.com starting December 18, 2010, and will be available though January 22, 2011, or when it sells out!

William Rast for Target will be for men and women and will feature premium denim, outerwear and sportswear. The prices are not yet available, but StyleList expects they will be well below William Rast's regular prices of $165 to $229 for jeans.

The collection for Target will take its inspiration from biker culture and American denim heritage, William Rast CEO Colin Dyne told WWD.

Matchy much?

Kate Bosworth took red-hot to a whole new level in a scarlet asymmetrical dress and matching red jacket by French designer Vanessa Bruno, whose dinner the actress was attending in Los Angeles.

The petite blonde was clearly set on a monochromatic look and ran with it... far.

While playing with different shades of the same color is very in this season, Bosworth's dress, jacket, and pointy Jonathan Kelsey heels were all in the same red hue. A bit much, in our opinion.

Luckily, the "Blue Crush" babe forwent bold red lips in favor of natural makeup and simple accessories.

Fall 2010 Kate Moss for Longchamp collection

Ad images from Kate Moss's second collection for Longchamp are here! And, with Moss's standing as one of the most influential arbiters of style, we are going to make a not-so-bold prediction and say patchwork-leather and vintage-style bags are about to be everywhere.

Split into three themes -- Neo Pure, Neo Patch, and Neo Precious -- Moss's collection was inspired by the '70s, as well as Longchamp's archives.

"I had a couple of vintage bags from the Seventies that I picked up in secondhand shops in Florence and Marrakech," Moss explains in a statement.

"One of them had a patchwork design. I showed it to Sophie [Delafontaine, Longchamp's artistic director], and she said, 'Come and have a look through our archives.' And that was how I found out that, at exactly the same time, Longchamp had been working with patchwork and lambskin."

Moss says the two diagonal-striped patchwork bags, which make up the Neo Patch mini collection, are her favorite designs for Fall 2010.

To create the textured color-block look, the supermodel/designer used embossed calfskin and her favorite hues of pale gray, jade green, and bright red, along with black and white.

Our favorite, on the other hand, has to be the buttery-leather Neo Pure bags, which come in deep emerald, ruby, and sapphire shades.

"The leather is so soft, it's like the softest skin you can imagine," Moss enthuses. "I love the modern feel of the handles and the different textures."

The semi-slouchy bags have chic, antiqued-metal chain handles, crocodile-style calfskin trim, and zebra-print lining.

The third mini collection, Neo Precious, goes bold with sleek, brightly colored clutches in crocodile-embossed leather embellished with chunky crystals.

"I have always loved exotic leathers," Moss says of the bags. "It's the richness of them that attracts me. It's the same with the ornaments on the clutches -- I just love the idea of having jewels on a bag."

In addition to these new Fall 2010 designs, Moss is also bringing back the popular Rock'N Casual theme of her debut collection for a second season, making over the Ladbroke hobo, the Glastonbury messenger, and the Gloucester duffel in three new colors: charcoal gray, rich burgundy, and racing green.

"It wasn't my intention to be English," Moss says of the British-schoolgirl-uniform hues, "but these are the sort of classic colors I am always drawn to. I guess I'm just that kind of girl!"

We, and a million other women, are that girl, too.

Talk about a hands-on mom! When shooting the Fall 2010 ads for Material Girl, the juniors collection she co-designed with daughter Lourdes Leon for Macy's, Madonna not only supervised the action but also styled campaign star Taylor Momsen.

In exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the photo sessions (above), a makeup-free Madonna, 51, is seen putting the finishing touches on several of Momsen's outfits, which include such pieces as a red tartan jacket, a floral miniskirt, a studded leather motorcycle jacket, and, of course, multiple strands of necklaces.

"A Material Girl is a girl that is interested in fashion and interested in music and interested in fun," Madonna, wearing a fringed leather jacket and fingerless gloves, explains in the clip. "And has a sense of humor."

She might as well have been describing daughter Lourdes, who is seen laughing while wearing an '80s-inspired ensemble of a hat, a slouchy gray off-the-shoulder shirt and vest, and floral leggings.

"I really like the way Lola dresses, and I think this line is an extension of her taste," says Madonna, who wears a black dress and chain-link necklace in another scene from the clip.

According to Momsen, 17, "Lola was here all day. She helped style the shoot." And the 13-year-old fashionista definitely took her job as co-designer seriously, appearing deep in thought while conversing with the crew and during each setup.

As for what it's like working with Madonna and child, Momsen says, "I'm psyched to be the face of Material Girl. It's awesome. It's Madonna, so you know it's going to be cool."

Judge for yourself when the Material Girl collection arrives at Macy's on Aug. 3. And if you're in New York City, visit the Herald Square flagship store between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. that day to see Momsen, lead singer of the band The Pretty Reckless, perform live.

Earlier this month, the powers that be at Calvin Klein gave us a sneak peek at Zoe Saldana's debut as the face (and body) of Calvin Klein Underwear. And now, they're giving us even more to salivate over.

In this trio of just-released images from the Fall 2010 line, Saldana wears Calvin Klein's Envy bra, which is part of the company's new Coverage Level System offering female costumers three levels of coverage depending on preference and bust size.

In the Saldana ads, shot by Mikael Jansson in New York, the "Avatar" star wears different styles of bras from the Envy collection, the skimpiest of the three coverage levels, which makes sense given her smaller bust size and the fact that the more flesh we see of Saldana's, the better sales are gong to be for CK overall.

The other two levels of coverage are dubbed Perfectly Fit, which provides mid-level coverage, and Seductive Comfort, which offers the highest level of coverage and support due to a larger cup, as well as thicker straps and band.

If you think these ads are hot, wait until mid-August when Calvin Klein releases a sexy video of Saldana talking about the envy-inducing underwear.

Don't expect Katy Perry to mimic Lindsay Lohan's manicure when she walks down the aisle with comic Russell Brand -- the singer says she will have tasteful "wedding nails" on her big day.

"I'm kind of a nail aficionado and freak," Perry explained in a recent YouTube Q&A session, according to MTV News.

"I think for my wedding I'll do what is called 'wedding nails,' where it's traditional and pretty. I don't know if I'd want, like, Oompa Loompas on my nails while taking my pictures."

While Perry, who is known for her rainbow-colored ensembles, cupcake bras, and crystal-embellished candy pants, hasn't revealed what kind of dress she'll don when she says "I do," the singer will certainly be wearing white -- at least as far as her smile is concerned.

"I brush my teeth all the time," she said. "I wanted them to be, like, Britney Spears white. I used to grow up seeing her music videos, like, 'What does she do? Does she get a new set of teeth all the time? They're so white!'"

The YouTube Q&A session was based entirely on questions submitted to Perry by her fans.

And true to form, she answered everyone honestly -- even if it meant giving a little TMI about her ta-tas.

"I'm pretty much an open book," said 25-year-old Perry. "Well, my boobs are real, just wanted to cover all that."

Looks like Jessica Biel didn't bring her A-game to the London premiere of "The A-Team."

Oh, don't get us wrong. The beautiful starlet dazzled in a scarlet Giambattista Valli gown that matched the red carpet (perhaps a bit too closely) at the Leicester Square event.

There was just one teensy problem: The dress was see-through. (All those flashing bulbs didn't help Biel's flashing problem.)

Biel's high-waisted black briefs were visible underneath the semi-sheer frock, but whether it was intentional or not is anyone's guess.

On the bright side, at least the actress -- who rocked messy waves for the evening -- wasn't wearing a thong. Or the R-Pant.

Now that would have been embarrassing.

Lindsay Lohan may be pulling her hair out in jail, but jail officials aren't.

Staff at the Lynwood Correctional Facility insist they have not ordered the imprisoned starlet to take out her blonde hair extensions as is standard protocol because they have been sewn in close to her scalp, the LA Times reports.

(Guess she didn't go to Britney's guy.)

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told the paper that extensions are typically removed when they are detachable, but Lohan's are bonded.

And while Lohan may have gotten a lucky break, the locks loophole isn't exactly endearing her to other inmates, who reportedly claim that the newly inked actress is getting special treatment.

Wait 'til they find out she's reportedly getting released next week thanks to jail overcrowding and "good behavior," serving just 13 days out of her 90-day sentence.
