    Lily's Jewel of a Bag
Even when competing with a gorgeous head-to-toe Prada ensemble, it's Lily Allen's silk clutch by the same design house that steals the show. The jeweled color is exactly what the fashionistas will be clamoring for this season. Prada Turquoise Satin Clutch. $695, available at select Prada Boutiques (1-888-977-1900) or www.prada.com.

    Lily's Look for Less
This navy satin clutch is fit for a princess -- or the bagista who wants to inject just a dash of color to her repertoire of bags. Though it's more midnight blue than turquoise, this beauty is still a bold color choice for spring, and we love the jeweled clasp. Franchi Eleanor Clutch. $134, www.zappos.com.

    Lily's Look for Less
Patent leather is still fresh for spring, especially when it's in one of the hottest colors -- turquoise. While not satin, this clutch has the same gathered details and boxy shape as the Prada (and the sliver clasp screams 50s chic!). Gabriella Giovanni Classic Clutch, $98, www.thelookloft.com.

    Nicole is Red Hot
New mama Nicole Richie reemerged on the social scene in top fashion form and entirely on top of the spring trends. Her oversized crocodile clutch epitomizes three key spring must-haves: exotic style, bold color and glamour.

purses are important excesories. People might say that that doesn't matter, but personal apperance gets you some where in the world. There is nothing wrong with spending money on purses or sunglasses. I care about my apperance and if i want to buy louis vuittons and dolce and gabanna purses then let people do that. If you don't want to spend your money on it then don't its your choice. just don't accuse ppl that do.

Personally. i love the clutches.

Hideous...Hideous...Hideous...
Expensive...Expensive...Expensive...

Yeah. I see no benefits.

Few months ago I was a guest at trade show in Vegas. I saw Nicole, Chinese Laundry, and Rioni (just a few of my favorite brands). I was excited to see styles that no one has see before.

Pffffffffffshhh....Like I'm gonna spend $30 on a damn purse! I cringe just spending $15 on one from target!

Most of those bags are just plain UGLY. They are all throwbacks to the good ole' days. I can't see where the "organization" comes in. Who needs to be organized when you're all "dolled up" for the evening?

eaprylshowers 06:14:04 PM Apr 03 2008

Some of these bags are ugly. So why would I spend all my money on an ugly bag because stars are buying them?

man5six 05:43:41 PM Apr 03 2008

I agree with bayougirl, everyone has thier own style, why should any man or women be made to conform to style which is entirely superficial. What makes you sexy is who you are, so be proud of who you are, and flaunt your huminity like its from the graces of god, becuase thats where you have decended from.

bayougirl918 05:07:08 PM Apr 03 2008

I think that everybody has their own style. Why do people try to keep up with the stars. Just because the stars have the money to spend on these over priced handbags why should we continue to spend our hard earned money on the overpriced items. The way that the economy is today, I could find other things of necessity to spend my money on.
