Filipa Fino is Founder of FinoFile, the first-ever digital magazine for fashion and accessories scheduled to launch next month. Before starting FinoFile she was Senior Accessories Editor at Vogue for six years working under Anna Wintour and overseeing all accessories content of the magazine bringing accessories to the forefront of fashion. Fino joined the publishing world at the helm of Liz Tilberis at Harper's Bazaar, working closely with some of the era's key fashion talents including Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrentti, Peter Lindbergh, Terry Richardson and Fabien Baron. In 1999 Filipa joined Paul Cavaco at Allure magazine as Bookings Editor. In 2000, she switched gears to her passion and became Allure's Accessories Director. Filipa Fino was born and raised in Europe, and came to the United States to pursue higher studies. Fluent in five languages, the Portuguese native attended Georgetown University Business School where she majored in Marketing and Finance as well as the Business Program at M.I.T. before entering fashion in 1995 in Ralph Lauren's Women's merchandising department.
