Skirting the issue

As with pants and dresses, make sure the skirt isn't tight or pulling at your widest points. Wearing a thicker fabric, like in this Tweed gored skirt, $44.50 at Lane Bryant, gives the skirt more shape, which can help to hide your thighs, but you want to hold onto a bit of feminine shape. Avoid stretchy skirts and thin materials and you should be good to go.
