These women thought they had it bad-until our pro rescue team arrived.
"My hair deserved its own zip code!"
-Michelle Sanchez, 31
After gaining weight, says Sanchez, "I was literally hiding behind my hair." New York City salon co-owner Edward Tricomi cut 10 inches, added long layers to de-bulk and twisted with a round brush as he blow-dried. "I feel so good about myself now," says Sanchez, "I've lost 15 pounds!"
"I had frizz from hell."
-Alyesha Asghar, 24
"A guy once said I looked like Jimi Hendrix-not good!" A curling iron and shine serum gave her hair sexy shape.
"My hair was perma-fried."
-Alisa Amsterdam, 26
The culprit: daily flat-ironing. Off went the dead ends, on came highlights-they make hair look shiny-healthy.
"Talk about grease!"
-Laura J. Downey, 29
Louis Licari's Kathy Galotti did streaks (color dries hair a bit). Next, a blowout and hair-spray to sop up oil.
