A Day in The Life of an Angel

Today I'm in LA launching the new Gorgeous fragrance and bra. It's exciting for me to be home in California where i'm from and to be working with Victoria's Secret. It's also an honor to star in a campaign for VS. Yesterday I was shopping with my sister at the Beverly Center mall and I saw my face in the window at the first time. Growing up I always shopped at Victoria's Secret with my mom and saw Angels like Gisele and Karolina Kurkova in the windows. I always looked up to them; it's so amazing and surreal to be one of those girls now.
6AM
I woke up feeling very nervous because I had to start off my day with a live interview at KTLA. This was only my third live interview and I want it to go smoothly. My worst fear is freezing up on camera. Before heading out, I had a great breakfast and had an hour and a half of hair and makeup before heading to the KTLA studios. I wore a sexy body hugging dress from Stella McCartney and of course, a Gorgeous bra underneath!
8:30AM
Arrive at KTLA. It's funny. I was here six years ago for one of my very first modeling jobs; it's pretty cool to be back here as a VS Angel to launch a new campaign that I'm starring in. I got to meet Sam Rubin and Michaela Pereira and all the other hosts. They were super nice and I felt like the interview went really well. After getting the nerve wracking live interview out of the way, I knew the rest of the day would be a breeze. Next up, an interview for YoungHollywood.com
10AM
Arrive at Young Hollywood's Studios. I was super excited for this one. It was very laid back and relaxed and the interviewer, RJ, was really easy to talk to. It was funny to talk to a guy about bras so I had a lot of fun with it.
10:15AM
I change into a black lace minidress from Dolce & Gabbana and then it was back in the car to head to The Grove for my next appearance - a press event at the Victoria's Secret store. There were so many photographers! After the photos I conducted several interviews about the new gorgeous bra and fragrance. Then it was off to the Andaz Hotel to shoot a how-to video with makeup artist Lauren Cosenza to give women at home a step-by-step tutorial on how to get a Gorgeous look.

Arrived at the Andaz Hotel and I was so hungry! All I wanted was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! My mom used to make PB&J's for me all the time as a kid so now whenever I'm having a really stressful and intense day I always eat one because it somehow helps to soothe my nerves.

Start shooting the How-to Makeup video. This Gorgeous look is one of my favorites; I love a smokey eye with lots of lashes. It was fun working with Lauren - She has such a pleasurable personality and we enjoyed working together on the video.

Finished up the how-to video and get on the phone with Stylelist (!) for a quick interview about Gorgeous and my career then I took a half hour break to relax and decompress.

I was off to have afternoon tea with a group of style bloggers at the Chamberlain hotel. I kept on my Dolce & Gabbana dress but added a black leather jacket and booties for an edgier look. It was really cool meeting all of the bloggers. They had such great personal style! It was fun getting to know them all and they taught me so much about blogging! I never realized how much of a following bloggers can develop and it inspired me to possibly start a blog of my own someday! We were all tweeting away throughout our tea and then we headed to the VS store at The Grove for a fun shopping trip! It was so much fun! I got to show them all the new Gorgeous bra and fragrance collections and since I know so much about all of the products I got to help them all find some amazing items in the store.

I changed into a super cute dress from the Victoria's Secret catalog and got my hair and makeup touched up for a meet and greet with customers and fans at the store. Getting to meet all of the customers is my favorite part of a high energy day. I love meeting all of the fans and this meet and greet was extra special since it was in my hometown. My mom and sister even came down to take a photo with me! They really enjoyed seeing what it's like for me at these types of events and it was so nice to have their support.

My long press day is finally over and was such a success! It was a surreal day and I was so excited to be launching Gorgeous in LA! I can't wait to see what's in store for me next!
I had to post this twice so far, because there are two of you small-women haters on here. Why can't we all be natural and beautiful and be accepting of the variety of sizes that God gave us all ?
Lindsay Elingson? Does she associate with Heidi Klum, Candice Swanpoel, or some Victoria's Secret angels?
