The Transition Outfit

For those Indian summer days that are hot in the morning and chillier in the evening, pair one of your flirty summer dresses with a denim jacket and heels. This Forever 21 jacket and pleated tube dress cost $24.80 and $22.80 respectively while these bronze sandals -- part of Payless' collaboration collection with the luxury goods designer, Laura Poretzky -- will run you $25. Throw on one of these $19.99 Target bangles to complete your look.

The Classic Outfit

Remake a classic by spicing up a little black dress with textured or faux snakeskin heels. Gap's knit version of the LBD is $59.50 while these black and white tweed pumps by Mossimo go for $24.99.

If you were in high school when "Pretty in Pink" came out, you probably already have your fair share of oversized tees, leggings and ankle boots in storage, so work the '80s inspired trends with your adult pieces. Throw a cardigan over a little black dress and knee-high boots and you're good to go from 9-5 -- and for those happy hour drinks that end at seven. This knit black tube dress by Forever 21 is $19.80 while the collared ivory cardigan by Isaac Mizrahi for Target will run you $39.99. The boots, by Target, are a steal for $29.99.

The Casually Chic Outfit

You can never go wrong with a pair of jeans that fit you well and a crisp white shirt. If you want to turn up the style quotient, go for a pair of straight leg or skinny jeans like these Old Navy "Diva" jeans ($29.50), Gap's French Cuff shirt ($39.50) and this wedge-heel style in the Abaete for Payless collection ($25).

The Weekend Outfit

Take it nice and easy this fall in a knit tee, roomy wideleg jeans and comfy flats.
