Hair texture type: "She's got gorgeous curls; they are regal!" says curl expert Ouidad, who describes Rossum's hair as a mix of fine- and medium-texture curls.
Going curly: Ouidad recommends her "rake and shake" styling technique. Start out by blotting water from hair with a towel. Next, apply Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner on damp hair with fingers or a wide-tooth comb. It contains botanicals like prickly pear extract, green tea, and arnica that condition and shine.
Divide hair into four to six sections. Dispense a nickel-size dollop of a styling product for your hair type (either gel, mousse, or cream). Rub hands together, and working one chunk at a time, rake fingers through from scalp to ends, distributing the product. When you reach the ends, gently shake hair back and forth to encourage curl, and let fall. Repeat with each section, using a dot of product for each. Diffuse hair or let it dry naturally.
Making it straight: Christo suggests beginning with wet hair and a spritz of his Curlisto Protein Boost leave-in conditioner, with rice, wheat, and corn protein to restructure. Next, apply a heat-activated frizz fighter, and blow dry. The finishing touch is a light, nonoily finishing spray.
