There are a few things in life that I am pretty sure that about 60% of the population can agree on. Dark chocolate is far superior to milk chocolate, going to the dentist majorly sucks, and California has the best weather. Okay, I may be a bit biased on that last one, but there is one thing that I am 100% positive that we all agree on -- cellulite is the worst!
Curvy is beautiful. Plus size is gorgeous. Thin is amazing. Toned is the goal! No matter what body shape, I don't think there is a woman on the planet who wants cellulite, and unfortunately for us women, I would say about 95% of us have it! Ugh...double ugh! Those pesky dimples that pervade our backsides are the bane of most ladies' existence because no matter how much you work out, cellulite seems to never go away..and let me take a moment to scream how utterly unfair it is that men don't have it! Another double ugh..
Now, there are those few ladies in the world who are simply genetically blessed -- i.e. Victoria's Secret models and the entire female population of Brazil. But the rest of us have to work at it -- actually work our asses off, pun intended! So, I thought I would gather a few tools to help ease the process.
Water is essential to your all-around health. In addition to helping reduce fine lines and wrinkles in your face, lots of water helps rid your body of toxins, thus ridding your body of cellulite.
Collagen not only helps strengthen the soft tissue in your body (i.e. your skin), blood vessels, tendons and more making cellulite less visible, but in conjunction with vitamin C it also helps speeds up your metabolism -- thus, helping to rid your backside of cellulite.
Allows the collagen to absorb into your body -- not to mention the healing and tightening benefits for your skin.
I have tried a few cellulite creams in my day, and one of my favorites are the Fat Girl Slim products. Fat Girl Slim, Fat Girl Sleep and Fat Girl Stimulator all help reduce the appearance of cellulite over time (all Fat Girl Slim Products provided by The Beauty Collection at the Malibu Country Mart).
Now don't get me wrong, while I love a good cellulite cream, these solutions definitely have to go in conjunction with a work out routine and a healthy diet. As much as we love them, eating brownies everyday will make your cellulite worse. A few days a week of solid exercise, a clean diet and the continued use of the items mentioned above and you will bust through that cellulite in no time.
