Black Friday and Cyber Monday are all about hype. And the hype works - a lot of people shop on those days because they feel like they have to. Many even feel so much pressure that they get a head start and go shopping onThanksgiving. There are even stats to prove it. According to data compiled by sales-tracking app Hukkster, 91% of items on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday remain discounted the following week. In fact, they've found that the deepest discounts often occur in December and January as retailers begin to liquidate to accommodate new inventory. So if you were too busy to shop on those days, or simply didn't feel like it, not to worry, there are still a bunch of sales all over the place.
It's also sample sale season, which means I might just wind up spending every dime I have on myself and getting crap for my loved ones. Sorry guys.
