Well it's official. After almost six months of rumors, and semi-confirmed rumors, we finally know for sure: Kate Moss is doing Playboy.

The news was confirmed by the magazine's editorial director, Jimmy Jellinek, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times.

"This is a massive global brand. You need a global icon in order to celebrate that–that was the impetus," Jellinek said of the decision. "You're talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy. She's the perfect partner for us to help launch the next 60 years."

Mossy will cover Playboy's 60th anniversary issue in December–and yep, she'll be naked. According to the paper, she'll wear the brand's famous bunny ears, French cuffs, silk stockings, and nothing else but a "come hither smile." The issue will be out just in time for Moss' 40th birthday in January.

It sounds like she'll be even naked-er in the accompanying editorial, shot by Mert and Marcus: According to the paper she goes full-frontal. Which, really isn't even very shocking, considering she's done it several times for fashion mags–most recently for LOVE's Tim Walker-lensed shoot, in which we got up close and personal with the supermodel's bush. One question though: Think she'll get a wax for Playboy?
