Well, Dove, you've done it again. The company is continuing their quest to empower women to see the beauty that is deep within.
With their latest campaign, Dove conducted an experiment with forensic artist Gil Zamora, in which he asked multiple women to describe their appearance. Zamora drew a sketch solely based on what each woman told him, and did not see her, even after completing the drawing. He then interviewed someone else who had recently met and gotten to know the woman, and drew a sketch based on that person's description.
Revealing the two photos side by side, it is compelling to see how others viewed the beauty of these women in comparison to how they see themselves. Moving is one word for it, but inspirational may be a better one. Our world can always use more movements like this. Let it inspire you to see yourself through someone else's eyes, and realize how beautiful you truly are.
Don't forget: YOU are more beautiful than you think!
