Ah, New York Fashion Week. One of the craziest (and greatest) weeks of our lives, filled with designers, models, runways, editors, celebrities -- and yet it has bounced from home to home over recent years. First, the stunning Bryant Park and then Lincoln Center, but what about future fashion weeks?

Now, according to WWD, it's likely that it will be moved to the Culture Shed at Hudson Yards, which is in development on the West Side. Diane von Furstenberg made a statement Wednesday that she is "super excited about the Culture Shed," which is being built with four runways, studios, exhibition space and a canopy that will be able to move to create both indoor and outdoor space. She said, "It will be a huge cultural center, and yes, a wonderful place for fashion week."

The Culture Shed is approximately a $300 million project that is funded separately from the Hudson Yards project, but is being integrated into the full design. It is believed that the Culture Shed will be fully operational in 2017, and while a spokesperson from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week declined to comment, many hope that this will be the future permanent home of fashion's biggest week in New York City.
