By Shut Up I Love That Shirt On You

It hit me suddenly this week -- sandal season is coming. I haven't dared bare my toes yet, though I can't say the same for a few misguided soles souls here in NYC. However, temperatures are supposedly, finally going to reach the 60s this week, which reminded me of two things:

1. I really need a pedicure.
2. Most of my sandals from last year are so worn-down they desperately need to be replaced.

A few weeks ago I postulated about those quirky, sporty sandals that are so trendy at the moment-even Birkenstocks. And while those are still up for debate, the above style is not. I love the clean, unfussy look of these sandals, with a solid low heel and minimally detailed, substantial straps.

You know I'm not really one for high heels, so a stacked heel and simple design is all I'm looking for in summer. Enough lift to feel like a lady but the practicality of an everyday shoe. Perfect, right? My current obsessions are from Jeffrey Campbell and J. Crew, but I found quite a few more to drool over, from Vince, Tory Burch and Loeffler Randall.
