This week, #ManiMonday involves one of our favorite spring colors, lavender, and a little bit of sparkle. We love to do accent nails and though we'll switch it up from time to time, the ring finger is our favorite.
This look is fairly simple, all you need is a steady hand and your favorite colors. We used Butter London Nail Foundation (Sephora, $19.00) as a base -- its matte finish is so incredible, that sometimes our nails-obsessed editor just wears this base alone. After letting the base dry for two minutes, apply two coats of Butter London's Molly Coddled (Butter London, $15.00) to each finger, save your accent nail.
Then apply a few coats (we do at least 3 or 4) of the sparkle polish -- our choice was Butter London's Fairy Cake (Butter London, $15.00) -- so that you get enough glitter. You can add more or less to your liking.
After you let your nails dry for a few minutes, add a top coat to give them an added sheen and keep the polish in place for days to come. Today we used Essie's No Chips Ahead (Essie, $10.00).
Try it out, and let us know how the look works for you! Check back next Monday for more manicure inspiration.
