WWD reports that Minnie will don her now-go-to French label Lanvin for the event, which will include a "fashion parade." According to the trade, Mickey Mouse wrote a letter to Alber Elbaz, requesting something custom for his precious Minnie.
Elbaz, who calls Minnie "a real fashionista," obliged. "When I showed her two dresses, she knew exactly which one she wanted," he told the trade. "She likes to show her heels and loves earrings, jewelry, colors and everything that sparkles."
The two began their designer-muse relationship this past fall when Barneys embarked on its "Electric Holiday" collaboration with Disney and it's still going strong even though Minnie has put on a bit of weight since they first worked together.
We're also guessing, based on the look on Elbaz's face in this photo, that Minnie is not the easiest client to work with (seriously, why does he look so miz?).
