Having a Guest Editor as fabulous as Nigel Barker is enough to put us on excitement overload. But when we got the chance to check out his personal family photos and learn about the outfit he wore when he interviewed for 'America's Next Top Model', we knew we were in for a secret-sharing treat (and yes - you get to be in on the fun, too!).

Here are 10 things about Nigel Barker that we love, admire, and straight up can't stop giggling about.

1 – HE'S A BIG FAN OF SKINNY JEANS
"If you are going out, and if you want women to pick you up, wear skinny jeans. Trust me, women will be looking at your legs, and looking at your butt. When I wear skinny jeans, at least one woman will tell me, 'nice butt.' There is something to be said about that."

2 – HE ONCE ROCKED BLONDE HAIR
"I once died my hair blonde, and it looked like an orangey-red carrot top. It was the '80s, and I was trying to look like George Michael. At the time, the ladies loved it, and I loved it too!"

3 – HE PREFERS A NECK TIE
"My go-to necktie is jet black, skinny, and simple. It goes with everything. I really like that mod-ish punk look."

4 – HE WORE RED "CLOWN SHOES" TO HIS 'AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL' INTERVIEW
"The very first time I interviewed for 'Americas Next Top Model', I thought, 'what should I wear that will make me stand out? I want them to see me as a personality.' I went shopping with a stylist friend of mine, Timothy Walker; he took me and I bought an enormous pair of red leather shoes. They were this shoe from the 1970s, and they were bright red leather. They looked like clown shoes. And Timothy said, 'Trust me, they are cool!' The shoes were the main point [of the outfit]; and I walked into the interview, and they loved it! Sometimes you have to do something a bit startling."

5 – HIS TAILOR THINKS HE IS THE MOST FASHION FORWARD MAN IN THE US
"Men in America dress so conservative. A tailor recently told me that a suit he made me was the most avant-garde he had ever made in this country. It has red piping, and bright hot pink inside. The secret to fashion is the funkiness in your clothing and adding to the details – the kind of thing people will only see if you flip your tie around, or open your jacket."

6 – WHEN IT COMES TO HIS PARTY OUTFITS, HE PREFERS TO TAKE INSPIRATION FROM THE '80S
"The '50s and '60s are my favorite decade. When it comes to suits, and sophistication, the '50s and '60s are where I look. When it comes to partying and going out, the '70s and '80s are more of my thing. There is such a sense of fun there. "

7 – ZOOLOGY WAS HIS ORIGINAL CAREER PATH
"I always wanted to be a zoologist. I'm fascinated with animals. I wanted to be a zookeeper."

8 – HE STARTED HIS PHOTOGRAPHY CAREER BY SHOOTING OFF-DUTY MODELS
"When I met my wife 18 years ago, I was modeling and in the early-days of my photography career. I loved photographing her and her sister; they were both models. They would come home from their magazine shoots, and before they washed their faces, I would photograph them and their friends. Before you knew it, I was photographing all these models that were friends of ours. That was the real start for me. That was 18 years ago."

9 – HIS OLDEST PIECE OF CLOTHING WAS GIVEN TO HIM BY HIS BROTHER
"The oldest piece of clothing I own is a t-shirt that I have had for literally 25 years. My wife has threatened to throw it away many times. It's shredded and held together by bits and pieces."

10 – HE LOVES WEARING T-SHIRTS WITH SUITS
"It's a great comfortable dressed down look. It is also slightly punkish – that way you can go to a meeting where people can still take you seriously."
