It's that time of year where literally EVERYONE is headed somewhere warm. This winter has dragged on long enough and it's time to pack up and get away before the winter blues reach an all time high. There are so many fun spring trends to incorporate into your wardrobe now, particularly in time for your warm weather vacation. I'm headed for the Bahamas in a few days and here's a peek at what I'm packing.
For me, bigger is always better when it comes to shades, so these oversize tortoise sunnies are a must have. I never leave for a trip without my headphones (major necessity in flight). I love these iridescent earrings for a night out but they're also great for daytime and they go with everything. A hat is absolutely necessary, I'm crazy about protecting my skin from the sun and this one is so cool and chic. And speaking of skin protection I live for this sunscreen because it has no harmful chemicals. I wear it year round and when I go away I bring the BB cream so I can go sans makeup. This pineapple clutch is great for shopping or going out and you can throw it in your beach bag during the day. This lace dress is a steal at under $100 and is the perfect beach cover up or dressed up dinner look. Gingham is a huge spring trend and I couldn't resist this super cute high waisted bikini. A simple striped sweater and stripe blouse are perfect paired with white skinny jeans or denim shorts (or layer over the lace shift dress for an unexpected combo). I like to be super comfortable when I'm on vacation so I stick to espadrilles and slides
