We've all been there: you're not really that happy about your new hair after a visit to the salon... some of us have even cried in the chair while we're still at the salon (um, guilty). But let's be serious, your hair will grow back. No reason to throw a fit, right?

One woman in New York City did just that -- except she threw a lot more than a fit. Rachel Meyers, 26, was arrested last week after going on a violent rampage in a salon in the Financial District after claiming the stylists messed up her hair. For making it knotty, basically. But according to the salon owner, "She came in with knotted hair, and laughed about it initially." Um, what?

After trying to help remove the knots, Meyers got more and more frustrated (she had stopped in - sans appointment - during a break at work, and they weren't working fast enough, duh.) and started yelling and cursing at the stylists. According to another client in the salon, that's when "she just snapped." Throwing beauty products, chairs, hair styling tools -- whatever she could get her hands on -- she barreled through the salon in her fit of fury.

Meyers struck a fellow client with one of her throws, resulting in a nasty gash on her knee. "Suddenly this like 20-pound metal box was being hurled at my head," explained the 52-year-old victim, "so I ducked and somehow it hit my leg. I don't think she was throwing it at me - I was just in the way of this crazy scene. I felt like I was in a movie - it was that dramatic."

It didn't take long for police to arrive, and Meyers has been charged with a laundry list of offenses including third-degree assault and second-degree harassment. This is taking "bad hair day" to a whole new level.

Oh, side note? Meyers was a U.S. Postal Worker -- wearing her uniform during the entire incident.
