        &#x3C;p&#x3E;Some of us watched last night&#x27;s Super Bowl for the game (Go Giants! Go Patriots!). Others took part in the event for the food, libations and merriment that throwing a Super Bowl party affords.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But for us, watching the Super Bowl is always all about the style. What was Madonna planning on wearing during the half-time show? Would there be a wardrobe malfunction? And what duds were designers lending out to the rich and famous so they could look their best while watching the game?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Yes, there were lots of sartorial moments that didn&#x27;t disappoint. Like &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/06/gisele-tom-brady-super-bowl_n_1256770.html?ref=style&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Gisele Bundchen comforting Tom Brady&#x3C;/a&#x3E; in a relaxed yet super stylish outfit (note: we want her scarf). Or &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/05/madonna-halftime-show_n_1256265.html?ref=style&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Madonna busting a move in Givenchy with M.I.A., LMFAO and Nicki Minaj&#x3C;/a&#x3E; during the game&#x27;s intermission. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But there were also some fashion disasters: What on earth was &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/06/katy-perry-super-bowl-2012_n_1256764.html?ref=style&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Katy Perry&#x3C;/a&#x3E; thinking?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Take a look at some of the sartorial statements from last night&#x27;s game and tell us who you think the biggest winners and losers were on Twitter &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://twitter.com/huffpostcastyle&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;@HuffPostCaStyle&#x3C;/a&#x3E;.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

        &#x3C;p&#x3E;On the weekends, like many members or our gender, we &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.stylelist.com/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Stylelist&#x3C;/a&#x3E; editors and Blogger Network members take advantage of weekend down time to prettify our nails. Because they still look pretty spiffy come Monday, we&#x27;re showing them off in a bi-weekly column called &#x22;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.stylelist.com/2012/01/23/manicure-nail-polish_n_1222341.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Manicure Monday&#x3C;/a&#x3E;,&#x22; which will alternate with our &#x22;&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.stylelist.com/2012/01/30/what-the-stylelist-staff-bought_n_1241773.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;What The Stylelist Staff Bought&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x22; feature.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

Although his photographs of people are the minority in Atget&#x27;s large body of work, which includes over 8,500 photographs, they are a fascinating example of the way street merchants and gypsies dressed in Paris at the time.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;For the first time in 25 years, the Museum of Modern Art will display an extensive exhibit of Atget&#x27;s work. The show, titled, &#x22;Documents pour Artistes&#x22; after the sign that was outside of Atget&#x27;s studio door in Paris, is &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.moma.org/visit/calendar/exhibitions/1216&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;open from February 6&#xC3;&#xA2;&#xC2;&#x80;&#xC2;&#x94;April 9, 2012 at MoMA&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

        &#x3C;p&#x3E;What would Fashion Week be without DJs? Nowhere near as fun, that&#x27;s for sure. To celebrate those who get the party started, we are profiling some of our favorite DJs. First up is &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://main.stylelist.com/2011/07/07/mia-moretti-dj-nyc/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;California native Mia Moretti&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. The ultra-stylish blond, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://fashion.elle.com/culture/2011/12/14/caitlin-moe-mia-moretti-on-their-first-single/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;who recently released a single, &#x22;So Beautiful&#x22; in collaboration with violinist Caitlin Moe&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, is a staple of &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/new-york-fashion-week/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;New York fashion week&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, spinning at events such as Chelsea Clinton&#x27;s wedding and shows like Alice &#x26; Olivia.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Below, she tells us what she&#x27;s currently listening to, her prediction for the most overplayed song and more.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;center&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://i.huffpost.com/gen/483020/thumbs/r-MIA-MORETTI-DJ-large.jpg&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;/center&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What is your prediction for most overplayed song during the shows or parties? &#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Lana Del Rey, &#x22;Born To Die.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What is the best song to play at a runway show?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
There is never a perfect song for a runway show, because the music reflects the collection. Every collection is completely different, not just for the specific designer, but also for the season and the year. As a basic rule, I don&#x27;t like to use any music that is brand new or too recognizable in a show, because I think it is more important to let the clothes dictate the mood, while the music carries one along. I don&#x27;t want to  resurrect an emotion or aesthetic someone may have previously attached to a track that might overpower what the designer is expressing; I prefer to use more unknown artists or original music in a runway mix.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What song should never be played at a fashion show?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Michael Jackson, &#x22;Thriller.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What songs are you planning to play during Fashion Week?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
The Weeknd, &#x22;D.D.&#x22; (Echoes of Silence Mixtape Edit) &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Jessica 6, &#x22;White Horse&#x22;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Midnight Magic, &#x22;Beam Me Up&#x22; (Jacques Renault Remix)&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Cerrone, &#x22;Supernatur&#x22; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Justice, &#x22;Parade&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Nero, &#x22;Crush On You&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What is the first fashion show you DJ&#x27;ed?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
It was the Walter Fall 2010 show. I started the show with an acoustic cover of Miike Snow&#x27;s &#x22;Animal,&#x22; and I had Caitlin Moe playing strings over it. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What show would you most like to DJ?&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Versace.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What was the first fashion show you ever went to?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
My dad took me to a fashion show at Galleries Lafayette in Paris when I was in high school. I thought it was very sophisticated at the time, but looking back I think it was the fashion equivalent of your first concert experience being Tiffany at the local mall.  &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What do you wear if you are DJing a show or party?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
I always wear something that reflects the mood I&#x27;m in at that moment (or the mood I want to be in); however, if I&#x27;m DJing the after party for a show, I usually wear something that the designer&#x27;s selected for me. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What is the last song you downloaded?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Katy Perry, &#x22;The One That Got Away&#x22; (Acoustic Version).&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Who are you currently listening to?&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Jessica 6, Holy Ghost!, Chilly Gonzalez, S&#xC3;&#x83;&#xC2;&#xA9;bastien Tellier, Theophilus London, Little Dragon, The Rapture, Les Rita Mitsouko.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What is your go-to song of all time?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Les Rita Mitsouko, &#x22;Andy.&#x22; &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

        &#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;The sight of metal studs on clothing used to connote a rough and tough type, one whose mode of transport consisted solely of motorcycles and whose social reputation was less than stellar. Those rocker dudes from the 1950s wore their hair in greased &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.stylelist.com/2012/01/07/elvis-presley-hair_n_1189213.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;pompadours&#x3C;/a&#x3E; and lived in leather and &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.stylelist.com/2012/01/06/creepers-shoe-trends_n_1186330.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;creepers&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, those metal studs designed to protect them from the hazards of biking (or from fellow bikers, we think). &#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
&#x3C;center&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://i.huffpost.com/gen/488036/thumbs/s-STUDDED-HEELS-410x410.jpg&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;/center&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
&#x3C;br&#x3E;Now we see &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.stylelist.com/2012/01/25/milly-new-york_n_1229114.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;upper east side ladies&#x3C;/a&#x3E; coveting Celine handbags adorned with studs. Season after season, we see studded accessories on the runways -- some of our favorites are &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.style.com/fashionshows/review/F2010RTW-VALENTIN&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Valentino&#x27;s studded kitten heels from fall 2010&#x3C;/a&#x3E; (which the designers have reinvented every season since) and Alexander Wang&#x27;s famous Rocco bags. You can&#x27;t blame us for falling victim to this trend; the mix of ladylike and tough sparks a riot amongst the stylish. Here, seven accessories that offer protection...from the scornful eyes of the fashion set at least. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

        &#x3C;p&#x3E;While watching the super bowl on Sunday night, I jokingly turned to a friend and said, &#x22;Well, I like blue, so I guess I am rooting for the Giants.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x22;Um, I am going to pretend that was a joke,&#x22; he said, &#x22;The Patriots are the ones wearing blue.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;It was already after half time. Fortunately, I was with a group that didn&#x27;t mind my disinterest and wrote me off as yet another fashion girl who doesn&#x27;t care about sports. Instead of watching Tom Brady and Eli Manning run around in their tight pants, I hit up twitter to see what my favorite fashionable tweeters had to say about the sports. No surprise, most were more interested in Madonna&#x27;s Givenchy-clad half-time performance and Gisele Bundchen&#x27;s seating assignment than the actual score. We&#x27;re waiting now for the next installment of &#x22;Shit Fashion Girls Say While Watching The Super Bowl.&#x22;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

        &#x3C;p&#x3E;We are happy to present to you the three sisters (and one very adroble pup) that make up &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://beckermanbiteplate.blogspot.com/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Beckerman Bite Plate&#x3C;/a&#x3E;: &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

Motorcycle boots, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.fashionmagazine.com/shops/regulararticle/40/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Beckerman love bag&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, vintage jewelry, Isabel Marant coat and colorful pants.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Who takes your photographs?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
We do. :)&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Why did you start your blog?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;
We thought it would be a fun way to have a sister style diary together.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Do you have any hidden talents?&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
We love making dog sweaters!&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What is your beauty routine?&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
We all use &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.clarisonic.com/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Clarasonics&#x3C;/a&#x3E; and Chanel products.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Which beauty products can you not live without?&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Chanel lip balm and &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.chanel.com/en_US/fragrance-beauty/Makeup-Eyeliner-%C3%89CRITURE-DE-CHANEL-89243&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;black liquid eyeliner&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. Plus, we all love &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.narscosmetics.com/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Nars&#x3C;/a&#x3E; Red Dragon lipstick.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;What are your tips for aspiring bloggers?&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
Keep doing it! Even if it rains, snows, heat waves or thunder storms, you gotta keep posting!&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Can you explain the title of your blog?&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
We wanted to have a crazy, fun name to our blog and we all wore bite plates and head gear&#x27;s as kids. It also means a computer &#x22;byte&#x22; and a fashion &#x22;plate&#x22;.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;b&#x3E;Describe your perfect outfit&#x3C;/b&#x3E; &#x3C;br /&#x3E;
It would probably have a knit turban, an Army jacket, Ray-Bans, a Balenciaga bag, patterned pants, a metallic shirt and lots of vintage jewelry.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;i&#x3E;Stylelist is about all kinds of fashion for all kinds of women. So in our &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://main.stylelist.com/network/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Stylelist Blogger Network&#x3C;/a&#x3E; (which you should check out if you haven&#x27;t already), we&#x27;ve teamed up with some of our best style bloggers and sites. &#x3C;p&#x3E;The 53-year-old legend took the biggest stage in the world, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/super-bowl&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;the 2012 Super Bowl Halftime Show&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, and brought the house down. She dressed to impress, sporting a gold headdress, black thigh-high boots, a youthful pleated miniskirt, a black sequined robe and gold cheerleader pom-poms (not all at once, of course). &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;We died, obviously, to see that the opening number was &#x22;Vogue,&#x22; featuring dozens of &#x3C;em&#x3E;Vogue&#x3C;/em&#x3E; covers lit up across the stage. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Appropriately, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/31/madonna-super-bowl-halftime-show_n_1243996.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Madonna&#x3C;/a&#x3E; didn&#x27;t skimp on the high fashion, trotting around the multi-level stage in Givenchy Couture and Bulgari with little helpers &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-207_162-57371715/m.i.a-flips-bird-in-super-bowl-halftime-show/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;M.I.A.&#x3C;/a&#x3E; and &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/02/05/nicki-minaj-madonna-super-bowl-halftime-show-performance/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Nicki Minaj&#x3C;/a&#x3E; wearing Erickson Beamon headpieces. Her black liquid eyeliner looks flawless and her blond waves were perfectly in place. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;But despite the expensive threads, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/television/madonna-rides-cleopatra-wow-super-bowl-crowd-classy-high-flying-halftime-show-article-1.1017646&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Madonna&#x3C;/a&#x3E; was her old self: turning cartwheels, showing off her bejeweled panties, writhing on the ground before Cee-Lo Green (in head-to-toe black sequins, natch) and making us all forget there was even a football game in session. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Girl&#x27;s still got it. Check out the epic, fashion-filled, black-and-gold extravaganza that was &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.spinner.com/2012/01/27/madonna-super-bowl-halftime-show-mia/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Madonna&#x27;s Super Bowl halftime performance&#x3C;/a&#x3E; below.   &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

<title>Ellen Grace Jones: Karl Lagerfeld: Deluded or Just Plain Controversial?</title>
<link>http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/ellen-grace-jones/karl-lagerfeld-deluded-or-just-plain-controversial_b_1249311.html</link>
<description>Even whilst heading up Chanel, Fendi and being an all-round style polymath, Karl Lagerfeld thankfully still manages to find time to burp out some preposterous, inflammatory musings from time-to-time. His inability to self-edit is what makes him such a charmingly nefarious fashion patriarch. </description>

        &#x3C;p&#x3E;Even whilst heading up Chanel, Fendi and being an all-round style polymath, Karl Lagerfeld thankfully still manages to find time to burp out some preposterous, inflammatory musings from time-to-time. His inability to self-edit is what makes him such a charmingly nefarious fashion patriarch.  &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Anyway, we&#x27;re long overdue an outburst from the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://dlisted.com/2011/08/21/life-would-be-so-difficult-kunty-karl-if-he-had-ugly-daughter&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;ugly daughter fearing&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://dlisted.com/node/30004&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;fat hater&#x3C;/a&#x3E; and in true KL style, he just delivered...&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;In talks about his recently launched &#x27;affordable&#x27; &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.net-a-porter.com/Shop/Designers/Karl/All?viewall=on&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;KARL&#x3C;/a&#x3E; line with &#x3C;em&#x3E;Vogue&#x27;s &#x3C;/em&#x3E;Hamish Bowles, this time he&#x27;s throwing ad hominem style assertions at the middle classes. Pitched as a cheaper-than-Chanel, pricier-than-his-H&#x26;M-collaboration, Unkle K&#x27;s eponymous new collection &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-16726750&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;caused a-buzz&#x3C;/a&#x3E; when it went live on Net-a-Porter last week.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;When asked by Bowles to explain his decision to pop out a mid-price range Lagerfeld explained, &#x22;The middle class has not have enough class, that I think about the middle class.&#x22; &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Okay Karl, so you&#x27;re on a self-elected crusade to make the &#x27;middle&#x27; classier? Does he perceive those mortals not Chanel-clad to be floundering in a style-less sea from which he will rescue us with &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/189962&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;&#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;245 sequin leggings&#x3C;/a&#x3E; and &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/189937&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;&#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;95 cotton totes&#x3C;/a&#x3E; with his visage silhouetted upon? &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Hmph...&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Perhaps if Kaiser Karl tweaked the curtains - hell, even taken a stroll out of the ivory towers of Chanel and took a sniff around, he could do well to note this actually, already-quite-stylish-thank-you-very-much &#x27;middle class&#x27; of which he patronisingly speaks is in rapid decline globally. His delusion knows no bounds.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;As our economies implode under the careful, insidious orchestration by the banksters, the Western &#x27;squeezed middle&#x27; tumbles lower and lower down the economic food-chain. The net worth of the middle fifth of American households has plunged by 26% in the last two years and the income of the median American family, adjusted for inflation, is lower now than in 1998.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;With fewer and fewer job-prospects for recent graduates, inflation and tax-hikes it&#x27;s bye-bye bi-annual-holidays - and crucially - disposable clothing income. Alas those halcyon days of a guilt-free &#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;400 credit card splurge on one of your &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/189948&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;sleeveless biker jackets&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, Mr L, are long gone.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;KARL launched internationally late January to much hype (hyperbole?) including a KARL app, pop-up shops and - hilariously - a &#x27;Find Karl&#x27; maze game. One can&#x27;t help conjure images of the ponytailed octogenarian abandoned and lost amid a labyrinth, desperately searching for his trademark perma-shades. Or something. Anyway, there are some OK pieces in the largely monochrome and silver collection. The black and white &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/189976&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Blanca PVC/cotton shirt&#x3C;/a&#x3E; at &#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;175 and metallic &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/189981&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Batya blouse&#x3C;/a&#x3E; at &#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;145 could well be wardrobe main-stays, but sadly, If this was indeed an attempt to bridge-gap between his H&#x26;M and Chanel collections then style-wise it certainly rings closer to the former than latter. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Averaging around &#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;300, the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.net-a-porter.com/Shop/Designers/Karl/Shoes&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;footwear&#x3C;/a&#x3E; is seriously under-inspired, closer resembling bog-standard Faith/Office heels than anything around their own unjustifiable price. I&#x27;ll save another &#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;100 for a pair of Louboutins, ta Karl. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;There are some seriously preposterous elements, however: most of all the &#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;125 metallic Lagerfeld-esque silver collars. Memo to Karl: young women don&#x27;t have your multiple-necks which need tucking into giant bespoke collars. Then again, given the faux-leather &#xC3;&#x82;&#xC2;&#xA3;70 versions have sold out on net-a-porter, perhaps they do...&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The bottom line is thus: if indeed our hero did intend to drag the middle-classes up by the scruff of their necks from sartorial doldrums with KARL, instead of eye-wateringly priced gimmicky items (some, as tasteless as his poorly timed and observed remarks) a few more enduringly stylish pieces wouldn&#x27;t have gone amiss. After all its hype, bluster and praise, I cannot help feel the lacklustre KARL collection is more emperor&#x27;s new clothes than the squeezed middle classes.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;The catalogue is rife with shots of our fair city, including backdrops of Bernal Heights, the Golden Gate Bridge, Sutro Tower, Land&#x27;s End and other SF spots. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;Love or hate Urban Outfitters (&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://bernalwood.wordpress.com/2012/02/02/urban-outfitters-uses-bernal-hill-for-glamorous-catalog-shoot/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;is that sarcasm, Bernalwood?&#x3C;/a&#x3E;) we can&#x27;t deny that the shoot makes our city look even cooler. Check out images from the shoot by &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.tim-barber.com/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;Tim Barber&#x3C;/a&#x3E; in our slideshow, and get behind the scenes footage in the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.tim-barber.com/&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;video by Tim Barber&#x3C;/a&#x3E; below. &#x3C;p&#x3E;Aside from your favorite team taking home football&#x27;s most coveted title, few things make for the perfect Superbowl Sunday: Good food, spirited fans and a cozy spot to watch the game. NFL players should know. And a few of them are showing us where they&#x27;ll be touching down for this Sunday&#x27;s big event.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

While her portrayal of the &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.style.com/beauty/icon/071206ICON&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;legendary screen goddess&#x3C;/a&#x3E; was magnetic, we&#x27;re zeroing in on the fashion, specifically the sexy yet feminine style that showcases her tiny waist and gorgeous curves. &#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;center&#x3E;&#x3C;em&#x3E;&#x3C;img src=&#x22;http://i.huffpost.com/gen/489640/1950S.jpg&#x22;&#x3E;&#x3C;em&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;Photo Credits: GoRunway, Getty Images&#x3C;br&#x3E;&#x3C;/em&#x3E;&#x3C;/em&#x3E;&#x3C;/center&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;&#x3C;br&#x3E;Obviously&#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.stylelist.com/2011/11/14/carsten-holler-new-museum-slide_n_1091398.html&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E; Miuccia Prada&#x3C;/a&#x3E; has been spending some time at the movies as well, because her &#x3C;a href=&#x22;http://www.style.com/fashionshows/complete/S2012RTW-PRADA&#x22; target=&#x22;_hplink&#x22;&#x3E;spring 2012 collection&#x3C;/a&#x3E; was seriously channeling the 1950s. Set in a drive-thru, the show was full of accordion-pleated skirts that hit just below the knee, full coverage bathing suits (that are still outrageously sexy, as only Mrs.Prada can do!), and cat-eye sunglasses. &#x3C;/p&#x3E;

&#x3C;p&#x3E;We dare you to try 1950s style this spring in sheath dresses that are nipped in at the waist, just-below-knee-length-skirts and shrunken sweaters. And of course, the accessories: cat-eye sunglasses, pointy-toe heels and frame bags are must-have ingredients for this fashion formula. What better way to watch as &#x22;My Week With Marilyn&#x22; vies for an Oscar at the February 26th ceremony?&#x3C;/p&#x3E;
