Rizzieri explains, "Think of when you take a sweater off and your hair gets messy. We're going to do that with our hands." To add a lift towards the front, he spritzed on <a href="http://www.aveda.com/product/5321/16789/Hair-Care/Styling/Volumizing-Tonic/index.tmpl" target="_hplink">Voluminizing Tonic</a> and then combed the hair back using <a href="http://www.aveda.com/product/5216/16733/Collections/Aveda-Men-Pure-FormanceTM/Aveda-Men-Pure-Formance-Grooming-Clay/index.tmpl" target="_hplink">Men's Grooming Clay</a>. Rizzieri set the look with <a href="http://www.aveda.com/product/5222/16913/Collections/BrilliantTM/Brilliant-Spray-On-Shine/index.tmpl" target="_hplink">Brilliant Spray-On Shine</a>. His simple words advice for women who want to recreate this hairstyle at home: "comb it back, take off your sweater and you're good to go!" Kaliardos used a small brush to apply <a href="http://www.maccosmetics.com/macpro/cms/proproducts/index.tmpl" target="_hplink">Pro Sculpting Cream</a> in Coffee Walnut into the crease and inner corners of the eyes for a shadowy, masculine depth. To contour, a taupe blush was added to the temples and underneath the cheekbone. He strengthened the front and center parts of the brows with brownish powder. Skipping mascara, the pro finished the looks with a mauvey-pink lip. Nails: <a href="http://www.essie.com" target="_hplink">Essie</a> celebrity manicurist Elle Gerstein wanted to mimic the wool and cashmere textures found in Chai's fall collection. The model, who happens to be <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2011/09/03/isabella-rosselini-the-face_n_946997.html" target="_hplink">Isabella Rossellini</a>'s daughter and <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2011/11/16/ingrid-bergman-photos_n_1095892.html" target="_hplink">Ingrid Bergman</a>'s granddaughter, is a designer, actress, DJ and restauranteur. The concept for the latter, her <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/news/new-york-fashion-week/" target="_hplink">New York Fashion Week</a>, pop-up restaurant <a href="http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/09/06/thank-goodness-elettra-wiedemann-feeds-fashion-week/" target="_hplink">GOODNESS</a> that focuses on healthy, sustainable foods grew out of inauspicious beginnings - her London School of Economics masters degree. "My dissertation was about the future of feeding urban populations," Wiedemann explained, "With that and my history of modeling, I came up with the idea for <a href="http://goodnesspopup.com/ " target="_hplink">GOODNESS</a>. I am lucky to have so many chefs that want to be involved." One of those chefs, <a href="http://toloachenyc.com/" target="_hplink">Julian Medina of Toloache</a> and <a href="http://ybnyc.com/index_nm.html" target="_hplink">Yerba Buena</a>, was kind enough to give Wiedemann and I a cooking lesson in his Upper East Side restaurant. In honor of Fashion Week, we decided to cook flan, one of Medina's specialties. "Lots of sugar," Wiedemann said, "Very good for my model diet." Although she doesn't work the runway anymore, ("I feel very relieved to be sitting watching a show. The first show space walked in was Frankie Morello in Milan, but I wasn't a good runway model. I'm not like a <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2011/10/14/karlie-kloss-revealing-looks_n_1011563.html" target="_hplink">Karlie [Kloss]</a> loping down the runway, I'm more like 'ummmm, hey guys.'"), Wiedemann, who has been the face of Lancome for over six years, still plans on attending Fashion Week: "I only go to a few of the shows now, like Prabal, Michael Kors. I am not going to be like in the old days when I was running around town." Probably for the best, as GOODNESS which debuted last season, has become a huge success. Surprisingly, the model hasn't always been a huge foodie. "I only ate pasta and drank milk for like the first 10 years of my life," she exclaimed, "ItÃ¢Â€Â™s been a blossoming since then." Now, Wiedemann's repertoire includes a homemade pesto from scratch, "my mom taught me how to make it, I am good with pastas, it's the whole Italian-ness," she continued, "And I do really good fish, like salmon. I am really good with salads and roast chicken. This Thanksgiving, I bought an amazing apple pie and then my fiancÃƒÂ© [who owns <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/28/dining/reviews/whitehall-bar-and-kitchen-nyc-restaurant-review.html" target="_hplink">Whitehall</a>] left it in the oven for like 5 hours and it was burnt to a crisp. The rest of the dinner I cooked from scratch, and it was great. But, desserts are hard." The flan, on the other hand, was a different story as it was completely easy and delicious. Much the impatient leader, Anna Wintour, my boss, always wanted to have access to 7th Avenue's hidden secrets before they hit the runway. As the accessories editor, my job was to report on any information I had managed to gather from frantic designers related to accessories. Were shoes round toe or pointy; platform or flat? Were bags slouchy or structured; bright colored or natural-toned? Was the upcoming season about large costume jewelry or about personal pieces? Was there a focus on the earring, the necklace, or the cuff? Were there new designers to watch, collaborations between accessories designers and fashion designers to register; any new category launches to see? (Believe it or not eyewear, hats, gloves, hosiery, and belts can often influence entire runway shows: think of the hats at Balenciaga Spring 2012). The information I usually presented was limited and concise, as designers most often kept their lips sealed. (Ralph Lauren usually gave a one-word description of their upcoming accessories collection, such as "grown-up" or another time just the word "green". Yes, I had to make a presentation to the elite of fashion based on that one descriptive word! ) But the significance of that little glimpse of what was to come was truly magical to all of us editors. It marked a clean slate for our imaginations and creativity. It was the change of the guard into a new state of mind that would later translate in a change of the way we shopped (and advised our readers to shop) and the way we interpreted fashion. I often found myself going back to my own wardrobe the night after the pre-collection meeting looking for those pointy shoes and that slouchy bag I had just announced as upcoming trends ( the beauty of cyclical fashion). As trendsetters, change is a good thing; and the bigger the change the more excited we become. As I gather with my small team at FinoFile, my new digital magazine, I am truly adrenalized for New York Fall 2012 shows. Although designers continue to offer little disclosure on their accessory treasures, I have a few predictions to share: I see a lot of boots for fall, lots of browns and pops of red and bright color. For shoes, pointy still prevails; but, yes, the platform remains (ladies, you can count on keeping the extra inches). The hobo bag is my favorite new shape of the season and the must have update to your wardrobe is the belt. Watch out for great jewelry collections from Eddie Borgo, Jennifer Fisher, and Kimberly McDonald. Also keep an eye out for great shoe collections from B by Brian Atwood and Pour La Victoire. The 30-year-old label is most known for its innovative plastic shoes (<a href="http://nymag.com/daily/fashion/2012/02/lorenzo-martone-plastic-shoes-smell-amazing.html" target="_hplink">which Lorenzo thinks smells like bubble gum</a>). With plenty of pink and red shoes displayed around the store like a museum gallery, it was hard not to be reminded that <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2012/02/08/adriana-lima-victorias-secret_n_1263232.html?ref=stylelist" target="_hplink">Valentine's Day is around the corner.</a> Ã¢Â€ÂœI'm going to Brazil tomorrow for a week and will be back on ValentineÃ¢Â€Â™s Day, so I think I'll play with my daughter and have a nice dinner with my husband," said Ambrosio, dressed in a Marchesa tent dress and Melissa heels. Since last November, founders <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2011/09/07/vogue-and-moda-operandi-r_n_951403.html" target="_hplink">former Gilt Groupe executive Aslaug Magnusdottir</a> and <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2012/01/28/louis-vuitton-spring-2012_n_1237530.html" target="_hplink">Vogue Contributing Editor Lauren Santo Domingo</a> have picked up some pretty notable hires: <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2011/12/12/taylor-tomasi-hill-moda-operandi_n_1143035.html" target="_hplink">Marie Claire Style and Accessories Director Taylor Tomasi Hill</a>, Neiman Marcus Senior WomenÃ¢Â€Â™s Accessories Editor Roopal Patel and Net-a-Porter U.S. Marketing and Sales Head Ashley Bryan, gone international and opened their e-doors to the masses -- they're no longer a membership-only venue. "We're coming up on our one year anniversary on February 16th and wanted to offer some new site features," says Magnusdottir dressed in an orange and white, floral Gucci dress that she describes as "boho glam." "We're also pushing opening up the site. Initially when we launched, it was the first time that anyone had done this concept of pre-order, and the designers wanted to do it in a very careful way because it was their most precious product, so we wanted to make sure we got it right, but now this has become a normal part of their business. So, it's time to give access to a bigger group of customers." She continues, "There was a level of exclusivity that we thought we needed to have when we first started, but then our membership base grew from a couple thousand to 120,000." <center> <img src="http://i.huffpost.com/gen/493248/ASLAUG-MAGNUSDOTTIR-MODA-OPERANDI.jpg"></center> <center>Photos by Bobby Doherty/AOL</center> A crazy number laughs Magnusdottir, considering that she and Santo Domingo originally thought Moda Operandi might be a physical retail store. "Lauren really wanted to start a boutique here in New York, but eventually we thought about that bigger customer group, and I'm so glad we did!" In doing so, Moda has been able to command a pretty fierce average transaction -- $1,400 to be exact. According to Magnusdottir, that goes up considerably during fashion weeks. "People tend to buy more than usual and ready-to-wear is much more expensive than what we sell in between seasons." So, who is this high-spending consumer? "Our girl is someone who knows the trends before they happen and look online immediately when shows are happening," says Magnusdottir. "They love fashion so much, so they're thrilled they get to be a part of it all." To further entice these well-heeled ladies, Moda has even more to labels to offer this season including Marni, <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2012/02/01/bright-skirts-how-to-wear_n_1245109.html" target="_hplink">Jason Wu</a> and <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2011/09/08/rachel-zoe-style-evolution_n_945046.html" target="_hplink">Rachel Zoe</a>. "We are always looking at the mix," explains Magnusdottir. But there are others that aren't on the site yet, that the team is always looking to, "Celine is very high on the list for everyone in the office, Chanel is another one, Lanvin we aren't working with yet. We're very new, so we understand why they want to make sure that the brand mix is correct and we continue to evolve." <a href="http://www.stylelist.com/2011/10/27/phil-oh-street-peeper-video_n_1035521.html" target="_hplink">With such high fashion standards</a>, Magnusdottir admits it is somewhat "stressful" getting dressed for work. "We have a very fashionable team. I never wear pants, I only wear dresses. There are a lot of different styles here. We have edgy downtown girls and uptown girls, but we are an Internet company, so we also have a lot of techy boys working here. It was funny when our CTO, Matt joined us, he was basically the first employee. Waris [Ahluwalia], who's a dear friend, and I took him shopping for a new wardrobe. He wanted to fit into the fashion culture!" So is that the standard treatment for all new hires?
