It's one of Oprah's favorite things for summer -- and ours, too! Yummie Tummie's shaper top holds in the puffiest muffin tops, looks good under a cardigan, and works without feeling tight or constricting. This new line of contouring tanks by Heather Thomson -- who has designed clothing lines for Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Sean John -- really works, even though the smooth, giving fabric may make you forget they're slimmers. Long and short sleeve versions also available. $62, www.bareneccessities.com
When it comes to stylish steals, we'll always show our support, but Nordstrom's anniversary sale is a particularly worthy cause! Exclusive beauty products are the main event this year, with M.A.C among the many participating brands we can't wait to add to our makeup bag. The sale officially starts July 18, but if you want to avoid the shopping stampede, preorder your goodies online instead.
M.A.C Colour Forms in Cool Lips x 3 and Neutral Lips x 3, $22.50 each, shop.nordstrom.com
Chic summer shoes and the chance to go on an exotic vacation? 'Where in the World is Piperlime?' is the latest game on our favorite shoe site. Every day a new, fab pair of shoes inspired by destinations around the world is up for grabs. Bernardo gladiators ($115) from Rome, strappy Max Studio platforms (bottom right, $110) for your Tokyo visit and chic sandals (Claudia Ciuti, bottom left, $400 and Corso Como, top right, $160) for Paris are just some of goodies. Ps. The big winner also gets a trip to one of these locations!
Want to show off your brand new pedi? These comfy yet super chic geometric print flip-flops from Tory Burch are a perfect addition to your summer wardrobe. Burch's signature gold monogram makes them stylish enough for the office, and the colorful, bold print will brighten up a beach day or a hot summer night on the town.

Of course it's something recommended by Oprah; you just buy it, no work involved. Instant, yet temporary, results. Gets stretched out? Oprah just buys another one, no big deal.

Am I the only one wondering why people have listened to Oprah's diet advice for years, and she's still really fat....?

Can you please tell me what having children has to do with a $5.88 package of undies or a $108 dress? Why would you call children a luxury? They are actually our future... did you ever think of that?
SLH4012 07:15:36 PM Jul 03 2008
da55comment .. A 5 pack of panties for $5.88 ??? Are you serious ? I don't know where you shop, but I normally pay much more than $5.88 for a single pair !Children are an expensive luxury. They are certainly NOT a necessity !If people cannot afford to have children .. they should not have them ! Why bring more children into the world if the family already cannot afford to eat ?

HalleyConcerto 03:20:54 PM Jul 03 2008 Jlo74, $108 isn't anything for a cute dress. What are you talking about? Maybe you need a better job and / or more education.No. Really??? Was this necessary to say??
