Swim For Every Body Type

    Curvy All Over
If you're blessed with an hourglass figure, a halter top and belted bottom flatter a feminine shape by highlighting your curves on top and bottom.

Liz Claiborne Hammock Stripe Halter Tankini, $83, www.lizclaiborne.com

    Rachel Been, AOL

    Pear Shaped
If you're heavier on bottom, a two-piece with a bit of coverage below helps you cover up without looking too dowdy.

Lands' End Retro Dot with Ring Bikini, $79.40, www.landsend.com

    Rachel Been, AOL

    Small Bust
If you've got a small bust, ruffles provide the illusion of more ample cleavage.

Liz Claiborne Sweetheart Ruffle Maillot, $81, www.dillards.com

    Rachel Been, AOL

    Bigger on the Bottom
If you're bootylicious, opt for a two-piece with a fuller bottom, preferably in a print that's not too bold or bright.

Gap Striped Seersucker Bandeau Top and Boy Short, $34.50 top and $39.50 bottom, www.gap.com

    Rachel Been, AOL

    Petite
If you're petite all over, take a cue from celebs like Kate Hudson and go for a tiny bikini that's perfectly proportioned for a small frame.

Juicy Couture Smocked Top and String Bikini Bottom, $80 and $85, www.juicycouture.com

    Rachel Been, AOL

    A Bit of a Belly
If you've got a belly, a high beaded belt and shirred goddess neckline help take the focus off your waistline.

    Roxanne Braided Maillot, $86, swimwearanywhere.com

    Rachel Been, AOL

    Boy Shaped
If you're boy-shaped, choose a suit with a bit more coverage and ruching to add shape.

Juicy Halter Ruffle Maillot, $173, www.juicycouture.com

    Full Figured
If you have a fuller shape all over, a streamlined suit with ample support to hold you in and flatter curves at the same time.

Cocorave Power Bra Halter and Hipster Bottom, $44 and $38, www.macys.com

    Rachel Been, AOL

    Busty

lokahi737 I agree with you. I'm also a t riple d, and I hate going shopping for swimsuits. A bikini would never work fo r me even though I have a flat stomach, supports not there. And the swimsuits they do make for bustier people are not flattering, and if they are, i haven't found one.

Why does the swimwear for people with bi g busts always have to be the plainest and the ugliest , I am 23 with a ddd/e and I would actually like to have a cut e fun swimsuit.
