"The clothes have a lot of layers, so the hair has to have a lot of layers," explained Syfu. That translated to a big, textured pompadour on top, messy bun in back. Willer's makeup was her idea of "the Twenties, modernized" with a punky edge: glossy eyelids, dark shadow liner underneath the eyes, penciled eyebrows and pink lipstick. read more
