1. Whom do you credit for inspiring you to be the person you are today? Like most people, it's a composite of several influential characters in my life - my wife, my father and my father in law have had the largest and most immediate impact on my growth as an adult. Professionally, Ms. Winfrey both taught me the process of television as well as launched me into the broadcasting world.

I remember the moment when I decided that I was going to be a photographer: it was when I first saw the work of W. Eugene Smith, the noted American photojournalist.

1. Whom do you credit for inspiring you to be the person you are today?
Certainly my parents had an affect on how I turned out by instilling all the important values in me. But it was my high school art teacher, Roberta Zelicow, who helped set my sails in the right direction. She saw something in me that I didn't see in myself or even realize I had. With her guidance I gained confidence and found direction.
