When all the big shows -- Chanel, Dior, Vuitton -- hit the City of Lights, the fashionistas of the world flock to Paris and, with their own personal style, turn the streets into a living runway. We were inspired by these chic French women, who have beaucoup of creativity when it comes to mixing and matching items from their closet .
Our first pick? You can't go wrong with classic black and white. To make a Peter Pan collar dress less cutesy, this glam girl pairs it with sheer leggings and sharp black accessories.

This chic twosome stay true to their own unique styles. If you want to stand out from the sea of black, follow the girl on the right's lead with a metallic coat and colored stockings (we may pass on the daring beret). For a more sophisticated street-chic look -- stick to figure hugging basics in neutrals and top with a bold necklace.

Did this girl just come from the Lanvin show? Featuring plenty of sharp tuxedo style suits, the Spring 2008 Lanvin collection proved it's fine to borrow from the boys. Just make sure to keep the look relaxed, like this girl, with flats and fun accessories.

A trick to looking longer and leaner? Wear one color head-to-toe. This gal keeps it interesting by mixing and matching different fabrics and sticks with a soft color.

Safari never goes out of style. For a modern look, do as this girl does and pair a tribal print skirt with a crisp white blouse and some intricate sandals in an earthy shade..

Red lips? Check. Cigarette pants? Check. Black and white jacket? Check. Dressing for a fashion show isn't as hard as you'd think.

If you recall, Christian Siriano did his entire collection in three colors, buf f, brown and black. This year's winner Leanne did her clothes in cream, white and turquoise blue the colors of the o cean that gave her inspiration. As Mic hael Kors said, she is ready to go to p rint in Elle Magazine. Her structural designing skill was awesome, her impecc able taste and quality workmanship won her two challenges PLUS the grand prize .Korto's designs were too "ethnic" and not everyone wears ethnic or wants gari sh bright colors. Leanne's designs wer e made for the models for the show not for wearability. The flirty skirts, ves ts, tops and shorts were wearable immed iately. Leanne's designs can be modifi ed IF the buyer has the taste for true elegance and quality. Bravo Leanne. Yo u deserved to win.
