Ah, pre-fall. It's the season (or "trans-season," as Michael Kors dubbed it) that keeps on giving. We wrote up our first collection for it in late November (it's been a while, Burberry), and now the time has finally come: Bring on the trends!

Per usual, things weren't as flashy as the main Fashion Weeks tend to be, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It means truly wearable, covetable clothes to buy and wear - even if we do have to wait until next summer. When thinking about the collections overall, "cohesive" is the word that first comes to mind, though "cozy" and "relaxed" were also bandied about in a lot of the reviews. Think Ralph Lauren's shades of gray, Calvin Klein's cozy knits, or Alexander Wang's solemn departure from spring's logomania. While these descriptors may not initially excite, there is definitely plenty to look forward to.
