There are many reasons to love Kate Spade, but after a quick walk-through at the fall/winter 2014 presentation, we can think of about 17 more.

Feathers, sequins, and sparkly embellishments were aplenty, but stayed true to the brand's classic sensibility and never overstepped boundaries. The spirit of the season was a a few parts 60s mod -- complete with pretty boucle coats and sequin bucket hats -- and a few parts modern fashion editor, with silk pajama-inspired pants and embellished toppers. The cape, which dominated the runway at BCBG Max Azria yesterday, made an appearance in a bright cherry red.
