North West has allegedly been a being on this earth for two months now and we still haven't seen her. Not in a paparazzi shot, not on the cover of a celebrity weekly, not even on Instagram. But why? What's the deal, Kimye?

Rumor has it, Kanye West wants to debut his and Kim Kardashian's progeny on the cover of Vogue.

A source told Radar Online: "Kanye is determined to make sure baby North isn't photographed by paparazzi then splashed across the world. He knows what he wants–a professional photographer and the cover of Vogue–nothing else. But clearly, trying to persuade Anna is going to be an uphill battle."

Apparently he has already reached out to Annie Leibovitz and Mario Testino.

The remarkably in-the-know source also knew the details of Wintour's reaction to West's request. She was reportedly "non-pulsed" (so, dead?) and "less than enthusiastic."

That Wintour didn't immediately yell out "Get me Demarchelier!" to her assistants isn't surprising. While her relationship with Kanye West has been a strong one, Wintour and Kardashian do have a bit of a rocky history (if sites like Radar are to be believed), what with Kardashian allegedly being banned from one Met Ball and cropped out of a Vogue photo at another. Since then, however, Vogue did publish a bizarre essay defending Kimye's decision to name their baby North West.

Even so, this is most likely not going to happen, and there's not much to back up this rumor.

Update: Vogue gave us the following comment: "There have been no discussions with either Kim or Kanye regarding pictures of baby North in Vogue."
