Fashion Week kicked off yesterday morning to a slippery, icy start. While fashion's elite braved the treacherous wintery weather, some of our favorite designers prepared their Fall/Winter 2014 looks to strut down the runway.

Kicking the day off (for us!) was BCBGMAXAZRIA, where plenty of oversized coats and fur (comfy-chic to the max) sashayed down the runway. Plaid and dark florals were Richard Chai's power-players, while Creatures of the Wind lived up to its name with complex ensembles with butterfly accents here and there. Finally, Tadashi Shoji captured this editor's heart with lace upon lace upon lace.
